Logan's Point of View
We walked out of Asgore's home and into a rather lightened hallway. Light poured through the huge church-like window in yellow glass against the pale stained windows.
"This place is nice!" Aiden said.
"I'd live here if there was an owl slide." He added, I quietly chuckled.
"There's probably a Sans slide somewhere." I said chuckling.
Red and Collin laughed, while Matthew and Jonathan smiled, as Juan and Aiden were laughing a little bit, but was getting some of their hair out of their eyes. We walked forwards, seeing a shadowy figure. Red's face lit up, but she didn't say anything.
"So, you finally made it." Sans spoke.
"The end of your journey is at hand. In a few moments you will meet the king. Together..." He paused.
"You will determine the future of this world. That's then... Now. You will be judged. For your every action." Sans explained, the light casting shadows on his face. He seemed to be staring straight through me.
"You will be judged for every EXP you've earned." He said, his gaze focused on Juan, Matthew, and Aiden, as Matthew looked down awkwardly.
"What's EXP? It's an acronym. It stands for..." He started, staring at the three.
"...Execution points. A way of quantifying the pain you've inflicted on someone. When you kill someone, your EXP increases. When you have enough EXP, your LOVE increases, LOVE too, is an acronym. It stands for Level of Violence, a way of measuring someone's capacity to hurt." The skeleton explained.
Juan went to the side slowly, as if hiding from the short skeleton. Widen avoided eye contact and bit his lip, his eyes filling with sadness.
"The more you kill, the easier it is to distance yourself. The more you distance yourself, the less you will hurt. The more easily it will become to hurt others." The shadow disappeared.
"Matthew. You killed some people, didn't you? But it wasn't you who killed them. Yes, you killed in self-defense, but something else influenced you. You're a good guy, Matthew. I guess that's why you were targeted." Sans said smiling, Matthew sighed in relief.
"Juan. You may have killed someone by accident, but that enabled someone else to host your actions. Your playfulness led you to get a bit reckless, but you're okay. It may not mean your 100% good, but you're still okay. I hear the host was cured by a special person." Sans said nodding at Juan, who smiled in relief.
"Thanks bud." Juan says, Sans nodded and looked at me, but then returned to a nervous Aiden.
"Aiden, your heart is soft. Now, that doesn't mean you're all innocent and naive, it just means your kind. You spared my brother; I can let you go for that. None of these deaths were on your hand, there was someone in control. You're not that kind of guy that would go around killing most things." Sans said rose his hands, Aiden seemed to relax a bit.
"Red, you're a good pal, and a good friend. I need more jokes like ours. You seemed a bit reluctant to go with me, but you were more than glad to go with him. I'm proud of ya, kid." Sans teased.
"I'm still 25 dude, but thanks." Red said chuckling.
"Collin and Jonathan. Your suspicion kept your hearts from being taken, good job. You two may not be 100% good with your mistrust, but your enthusiasm, kept everyone up, keep on going." Sans gave them a thumbs up. Jonathan and Collin smiled at the skeleton, then Collin gave Sans a hug.
"My bones are being crushed." Sans said laughing, Collin happily and cheerfully let go. It was now my turn...
"Logan. You never gained any LV. If you did, you sure made up for it. Your heart is what healed everyone. Your determination and purness kept everyone going. You always resisted the temptation to kill, even in self- defense. You strived to do the right thing. Even when you ran, you did it with a smile. You never gained any LOVE, but you gained love. Does that make sense? You're the one who's going to face King Fluffy buns. What will you do? If you refuse to kill Asgore, he will take you and your friends' souls and destroy humanity. If you kill Asgore, monsters will remain underground." He said chuckling.
"Logan, if I were you, I'd thrown in the towel by now. But you didn't get this far by giving up, did you? You have something called 'determination.' So as long as you hold on, so as long as you follow your heart... I believe you can do the right thing. We're all counting on you, boy. Good luck. Someone really cares about you, kiddo." Sans said as his eyes glowed a faint neon blue in his memories.
But he soon turned around and took a shortcut back home. I took the information, but only now I did realize that I could die, meaning the other would die as well.
'Was I ready for this?' I thought for a minute and took a deep breath.
"I'm ready." I said as the seven of us walked on. Going around a corner of a grey stone hall, a large door sat in front of us, we walked through it, a beautiful large room, grass and golden flowers at our feet, held a single throne in the middle. A large goat-like man with a king's robe and horns sprouting out of his golden fur didn't see us, as he was watering the flowers.
"Oh? Is someone there?"
