Logan's Point of View

The messages had no sound not even close to English... But somehow, I knew exactly what they met.

'YOUR DETERMINATION SAVED ME. YOUR DETERMINATION TO STOP THE RESETS, TO STOP THE RESETS, TO STOP ALL THE PAIN.'

'IT AWAKENED ME FROM DYING ACROSS SPACE AND TIME; MY SONS, ESPECIALLY SANS...'

'THEY NEED TO LEARN TO LOVE AGAIN. AFTER MY DISAPPEARANCE, THEY LOST HOPE. THEN, YOU APPEARED. YOU SAVED THEM ALL.'

'I SAW THE LIGHT IN EVERYONE'S EYES AS YOU SAVED THEM FROM THE DARKNESS.'

'MY NAME IS GASTER, AND YOU HAVE SAVED ME FROM DESTRUCTION. IN RETURN... I MUST SAVE YOU.'

That's when I woke up.

---

"Logan... Please!" Red sobbed, the flower that I once had on my glasses had been melting beside me in a pile of darkness.

"You can't! You can't go out like this!" Matthew shouted, his voice echoed through the Ruins.

"Logan!" Collin yelled, I heard them, I just couldn't see.

'Was I dead? Gaster saved me... Didn't he?' I thought as I felt hands push on my chest, trying to save my weak flickering heart; me determination was tired, and so was I.

My eyes felt as if they were held back by bricks. I tried to open them, but I was too weak. I saw a ghost-like skeleton in a black robe in the darkness.

But he vanished in a wave of pixels, my eyes fluttering open.

I saw Juan and Jonathan, kneeling near the corner of the room, holding one of the flower petals and trying their hardest not to look distraught.

Aiden sniffled, tears clouding his eyes. He poked the darkness with the flower stem, watching in disgust.

Collin pushed on my chest, but it looks like he doesn't know how to perform CPR; he screamed my name.

Matthew's head was in his hand, tears leaking through like rain.

Red tore her jacket off of her, throwing the jacket and the knife into the dark void. Her hands were clenched into fists as she cried, screaming.

I got up suddenly, still kind of weak from the battle with Chara. Everyone looked at me surprised, but soon Red went next to me.

Her eyes softened as another tear fell. Soon she kissed me again, letting me have more strength. Soon she pulled away, wrapping me in a tight hug.

"Logan, I thought I lost you good this time. Please don't do that again." She cried into my shoulder.

I weakly laughed, my heart flickered against her purple/red one, beating stronger than ever. I smiled at her.

"I just thought about you and everybody else." I said, all of the others awkwardly and calmly put their arms around the two of us in a hug.

I smiled as I saw the skeleton-like ghost smile before flying up to find Sans. I hugged everyone back, closing my eyes and letting a single tear slip out.

'I did it.' I thought, I realized that everyone is free, and happy. I was finally done; my journey was finished. I laughed as I embraced everyone.

"Let's go to the surface, guys." Red offered.

"Yeah!" Collin said smiling widely.

"Let's go." Jonathan said smirking, as we all let go. Soon we all see the sun coming up as we stepped out; everyone went out to watch it, while Red and I held hands while it rose.

She brushed a hair strand behind her ear, as I saw a flower on my glasses. I caught Sans in the corner of my eye, walking along the path.

Now looking at a pixel ghost beside him. He looked... Happy, and I smiled.
