Logan's Point of View

I looked up from where I was kneeling, expecting Flowey to come and shoot me or something again. But the television was there, but no Flowey, no claws, no attacks.

A relaxing song filled me with determination as the six souls expanded into a small circle, slowing around each other. I smiled at the beautiful colors, each reminding me of one of my friends or my girlfriend. The souls floated towards me, with me in the center.

'Hope!' The purple one seemed to encourage. A music note came from the deep blue one. A thumbs up floated away from the orange one.

A bandage wrapped around my arm cut from the light blue one. A flower rested at my feet from the yellow soul. And a little green egg seemed to feed me from the green soul. I felt newfound strength in me. I was no longer tired, I felt strong, I felt determined.

'Flowey's defense dropped to 0!' Someone told me. I looked at the flower-beast and I continued to attack. I dodged and picked up something shiny, something hard, the Worn Dagger. I chuckled, no longer angry. I felt like this was just a walk in the park. I sprinted up to the flower- monster and stabbed it with the dagger. More attacks kept coming, but I stabbed it until finally, red leaked from the wound.

-Time skip to the end of the fight. -

Flowey, in his small flower form, lay all torn up and was looking away from me, the world was dark. I felt something in my heart for this small creature that tried to destroy me, even though I really shouldn't.

"Flowey..." I started.

"Do you think I've learned anything?" Flowey looked at me a small bit.

"I won't fight you." I said to him.

"Sparing me won't change anything." He said to me.

"Flowey, I will NOT fight you." I said clenching my fists, Flowey now fully facing me.

"If you let me live..." He started with his expression now looking horrific.

"I'll come back." He stated.

"No." I stated.

"I'll kill you." Flowey threatened.

"I refused already, Flowey." I said, sighing.

"I'll kill everyone." He stated.

"Give it up." I said looking at him with a sad look.

"I'll kill everyone you love." He stated, and I gave him a weak smile. His murderous eyes now showed eyes of sadness, I really felt bad for the flower. I gave a small thumbs up, he frowned in despair. I knelt down next to him.

"...Why?" Flowey asked looking at me, his normal voice was back. But it was if he was trying to be sad. Like he couldn't feel at all and just wanted to. Maybe that was why this all happened.

"...Why are you being so nice to me?" Flowey asked looking down. I frowned for a little bit.

"Because you don't deserve death Flowey." I stated to him.

"I can't understand." Flowey said biting his lip, looking at me.

"Flowey..." I said, sighing, and slouching.

"I can't understand!" Flowey cried out. I felt my heart break, the flower could feel nothing but hatred, and probably just needed a tear to come out of his little eyes.
