Logan's Point of View
We stumbled as the elevator seemed to push my group and I out, the elevator doors stuck with vines. Red held one of the vines.
"We can't do anything with them..." She whispered inspecting the vines.
"No going back, let's meet the king again." Matthew said, Collin nodded, jumping up and down.
"Let's go." Collin said smiling, Juan, Jonathan, and Aiden smiled as well.
"Let's do this again." Aiden says smiling. I walked alongside my friends and girlfriend, it fills me with determination.
I thought of the memories I had, maybe it wouldn't be so bad after all, staying down here with the Dreemurrs. I held the locket, the heart seeming to shine like my determination had in the Flowey fight.
Flowey had reset the Asgore fight, which meant in order to spare him, I just needed to weaken him and then spare him.
"You ready?" Collin asked smiling.
"Yeah!" I responded smiling back.
"It's finally the end, huh?" Red asked, her hood was off her head. Instead of tears, she had a smile on her face.
"Yeah! I could use some of Toriel's pie, huh?" Matthew smiled, with Jonathan nodding and smiling.
"We'll finally get to stay with Toriel and Asgore!" Juan and Aiden were smiling.
"We'll be safe from everything." Jonathan was smiling. We walked on, a small smile on my face.
(Author: Only if they knew... *cough* Flowey... *cough*)
"Asgore!" I said as we reached the barrier. Asgore looked at us and smiled, he reached inside his cape.
We saw a little bit of the trident- Suddenly, a fireball hit Asgore not as strong as it should have.
"What a miserable creature, torturing such poor and innocent youths." Toriel states.
"Goat mom!" Collin cried out, and went up to hug her, as Toriel laughed.
"Yes, Collin. At first, I thought I'd let you make your journey alone. But I could not stop worrying about you. Your adventure must have been so horrible... And ultimately, it would burden you with a terrible choice." Toriel starts.
"To leave this place, you'd have to take the life of another person. You'd have to defeat Asgore. However, I realized... I can't allow that. It's not right to sacrifice someone simply to leae the underground." She explains.
'Asriel. Asgore. Like father, like son.'
"Is that not what I've been trying to prevent this whole time? SO, for now, let us suspend this battle. As terrible as Asgore is, he deserves mercy, too." Toriel said as Collin let her go.
"Tori... You came back..." Asgore stood, smiling at his ex.
"Do not 'TORI' me Dreemur, you pathetic welp. If you really wanted to free our kind, you could have gathered one soul, and then cross the barrier and collect six more. Instead, you sat here, meekly hoping another human would come." Toriel said.
"Tori... You're right..." Asgore said sadly, as if he was a child.
"I'm a horrible creature, but do you think we could be friends again?" Asgore asked shyly, Toriel sighed.
"No, Asgore." She replies, Asgore's face turned sad and embarrassed, Juan and Jonathan went up and pat the big guy's back.
"It's okay, dude." Jonathan says to him, with Juan nodding agreeing with him.
