It had only been a few hours, but Alexis already missed Ashton. It was silly, really. The whole relationship had only started because she needed someone to get her mind off of Luke, but as time progressed, she had really grown fond of him. He really had been the perfect boyfriend, and Alexis simply neglected to acknowledge that due to her obsession with assholes.

She was glad that she had mended her relationship with Luke, even though he would be on probation for quite some time before things returned to normal - whatever "normal" was in their friendship.

She had just finished up in the bathroom when she heard Luke call for her. He sounded nervous and she quickly stumbled into the living room where Luke was standing.

Along with Casey and Ashton.

"Alexis, what the hell is he doing here? I thought you hated him, I thought he hurt you, I thought - I don't even know what I thought. I just want an explanation," Ashton demanded, his tone stern.

Casey stood in the corner, his arms crossed, jaw locked and hard eyes glaring at the rug in the middle of the floor - Alexis would deal with him later.

"Look, Ashton. I'm sorry for yelling at you and not telling you about Luke, but you have to understand that my relationship with Luke has nothing to do with us. I would never tell him the details of what we do, so you can't expect me to tell you about Luke. If there was anything for you to worry about, I would tell you," She tried to explain calmly. Although she was still annoyed with his behavior from earlier that day, she was ecstatic that he had showed up, no matter what his reason.

Ashton sighed and ran a hand through his hair while nodding his head along with what she was saying, "I get it. I shouldn't have gotten so upset. I was just - just so jealous that I overreacted. You and Luke seem to have a history together and I can't compete with him. I just like you too much to let you go that easily, and I screwed up. I'm so sorry, baby."

Alexis could not help the smile fighting it's way onto her face, even with the horrid pet name - it was kind of cute when he said it, "I forgive you. Besides, Luke and I do not have a history. We've always just been friends," Luke tried not to be insulted by the disgust in her voice at the mention of any possibility of a relationship with him.

'I'll remember that next time you're on top of me in my bed,' he thought to himself.

"Hey, no hard feelings, man?" Ashton asked and Luke nodded, doing the guy handshake that every boy on the planet seemed to know.

"So, what'd'ya say, babe? Will you be my girlfriend again?" he asked with hope in his voice.

Alexis hummed and looked at the ceiling, "I guess that'd be okay," She laughed, sarcastically, before breaking into a grin and jumping into Ashton's arms, giving him a kiss (that lasted way too long to be in front of others, in Luke's opinion).

"Oh great, everything's just dandy now, isn't it?" Casey finally spoke up from the corner.

"Uh, I'm just gonna go wait," Luke looked around the small apartment before realizing there was nowhere to go to give the two privacy, "outside, I guess. Ashton?"

"I'll see you in a minute, babe," Ashton kissed Alexis' cheek before walking outside with Luke, leaving her alone with her angry best friend.

"I cannot believe you!" He fumed, right as the door closed.

"What did I do wrong now?" Alexis questioned, falling back onto the couch.

"Both of those guys were total assholes to you and you just went ahead and forgave them! They don't deserve you or your forgiveness, and it's crazy that you can't see that."
