Y/N's POV

Everything felt strange.

All I could see was darkness. And of course, I tried opening my eyes, but it felt so heavy.

"I want to wake up! I have to! I want to see Jooheon!" I thought to mysel. And with all the motivational sayings in my head, my eyes shot open. My whole body can only feel one thing and that is tiredness. But, somehow I managed to look around the room.

My heart aches a little when I couldn't find what I was searching for.

Where's Jooheon?

Instead of him, I found Lisa on her phone. She then noticed the slight movement of my head.

"Y/N! You're awake! Oh my God, I've missed you so much. Hold on! Let me get Wonho Oppa and the doctor."

She then sets her phone down on the chair and runs out of the room. I shifted my position and once again scanned the room. Something then catches the corner of my eyes.

Is that the Gatsby book? And a letter? Both of them are placed neatly on the side table. The yellow sticky note is still there. This is the one that Jooheon gave me.

I then set it down on my lap and scanned the envelope in my hands.

"Lee Y/N."

I then opened it up and took the folded paper. I straightened it and started reading.

"Dear Y/N,

Really, isn't this one great way to end a romance movie? Anyways, I want to sincerely apologize. I can't keep you anymore. And of course, I have my reasons.

First of all, I honestly wasn't going to blackmail your brother anymore. So, you're not that useful anymore. And I was gonna send you home, probably after keeping you for another 2 weeks without trying to kill you or anything, but Hyungwon took you. So, that's that.

Second of all, it would probably be dangerous for you to be in my arms. I have too many rivals to deal with and if anything happens to you, I would blame myself.

Anyways, I know that this is probably a lot or too much for the both of us. I figured, since we chatted only three or four times. And we didn't exactly spend our times together in the most ideal ways. And I do understand if you think all of this is too fast.

By the way, you can keep the book. It's yours now. It's from my personal library actually. It might be hard to believe but I was once attached to my novels and books. Maybe one day I can take you there, to my personal library. We'll hang out there and eat McSpicy.

I really do wish we can start over one day. So, I hope you won't forget about my existence in this world.

I hope that one day, like a miracle, I'll find you. I hope that one day, we'll find each other.

Oh wow, he left.

"I'll wait," I whispered to myself as I folded the paper and put it back on the envelope. I heard footsteps from outside the room. It must be them.

And I was right, Lisa, Wonho Oppa, and a doctosr sprinted in, along with a lady.

Wonho then ran to me and hugged me as gently as possible. I hooked my arms to his neck and pulled him closer, tightening the hug.

He then whispered, "I'm so sorry. I've missed you so much."

He then pulls away and lets the doctor do his work. When the doctor is done, he lets out his conclusions and thoughts.

"So, for the time being, Y/N-ssi should have as much rest as she can. And I would probably keep her here for another two weeks just in-case. If she's stable for the next two weeks, then I suppose she's good to go," he explained.

We then thanked him as he walked out. The woman then approached me and introduced herself.

"Hi! I'm Ahn Hyejin or you can call me Hwasa, I'm the CEO of  MMM Industries," she said while giving her hand out.

I then grabbed her hand and shook it. I smiled and said, "I'm Lee Y/N, Shin Hoseok's little sister."

She replied, "Hmm.. I figured that. Anyways, I'm gonna have to go. Get well soon, okay?"

She then steps out with Wonho Oppa walking her out, probably to her car and to thank her.

And that leaves me with Lisa. I turned my head to her and asked, "Hey, Lisa. How long have I been sleeping?"

She replied, " Probably 2 or 3 weeks."

"Jinjja??"

"Yeah. By the way, school starts in 6 days," she said.

"Aw shoot! I didn't get to spend my holiday," I pouted.

"I'm pretty sure that the school's gonna give you a week off due to your accident. Besides, you're gonna stay here for another 2 weeks, aren't you?"

"Hmm.. yeah.."

"Anyways, why don't you tell me about the guy?" she said.

"What guy?"

She then answered, "The one who kidnapped you. What's he like?"

"Oooh," you chuckled, "Which one?"
