"I never thought wearing wedges could be this painful," Le'Maya said as Sajaír leaned down near the passenger seat door. He was currently taking off her shoes before he escorted her inside. Her eyes had been blindfolded, but she could tell that they were home. The saltwater that she smelled from the beach nearby and the sand was a dead giveaway. However, the blindfold was pitch black.

The two of them had just returned from a birthday dinner for Maya and none of her friends could make it. She had to admit that it was last minute planned with everything going on. Nicholas was recovering from a bad breakup and dating again, Lani was trying to be on a dance team and her tryouts were outside of Kamori's work schedule - who was also dealing with moving Anderson in. Emily and Anika had kept their distance, but Sajaír had convinced Maya that it was nothing personal. Anika had been busier.

Reign had been renovating and opening up his club while Cree was traveling on a model gig. Once again, everyone was doing something with their life. And this time, Maya was included. She had found her passion to be art, whether it was creating it, selling it or looking at it. She had been spending the past week looking at available spaces in hopes of opening an Art Gallery when everything regarding Carter had been settled.

"Walk slow, baby. Whatcha walking so fast for?" Sajaír asked with a giggle, a restrain on her arm to hold her back from walking so fast. She was eager to know what the surprise was, but it couldn't have been a bigger bundle of joy rather than her babygirl on the way.

He let her remain in place, removing her blindfold before grabbing her shoulders. "Don't open them yet," He said and she could hear him walk away. Something was shuffled in the background before he returned, holding her hand. "Open," he said.

She turned around, finding herself at the other end of the house near the garage but there was ultimately nothing but silence. She chuckled, turning around with her hand on her belly several times before she furrowed her brows. "Sajaír, what in the hell is going on?"

As if on cue, the garage opened and a bunch of pink balloons with doves started to fly out. She couldn't see inside the garage until most of them cleared out, but a baby pink Tesla with the wing doors drove out, lights blazing and all. Her friends and family came running out, everyone shouting "SURPRISE!" as they had done so. Maya put her hands over her mouth with a gasp, walking into the crowd of people that ran towards her.

"Happy Birthday, sis," Reign said, bringing his sister in a tight hug before he allowed everyone to get their fair share of love. Maya was enjoying hugging everyone and everything, but she could music from inside the house and she smelled chocolate. She went to place her hand on the car, realizing that in the backseat there had been a car seat for her babygirl, who she hadn't named yet.

"This is amazing, baby. You didn't have to," She said, bringing him in a tight hug before two workers came and placed flowers outside the car.

Maya couldn't take her eyes off of her new car, but she had to admit that it would be better than driving that Mercedes van that they had called theirs not too long ago before moving

Maya couldn't take her eyes off of her new car, but she had to admit that it would be better than driving that Mercedes van that they had called theirs not too long ago before moving. She stood there, mouth agape before Sajaír had called her inside. The music was thumping loud, Lani dancing next to the flat screen where YouTube had been opened. Some of her friends had come with her from her dance squad, all of them introducing themselves according.
