"I'm going to look for doctor's out here," Sajaír said, picking up his shattered phone in frustration. He'd need to get another one, he thought. Maya stood from the couch, putting her hands at her hips.
"A doctor for what?" Maya said in defense of Jasmyn who had stood behind her as well. Sajaír gave Maya a look that told it all, Maya shaking her head. "You're not in control of her body, Sajaír!" Maya screamed.
"You think I want her to? You know how fucked up Nicholas is going to be? No you don't," Sajaír said, but he didn't bother to raise his voice at his fiancé who was carrying his child. Maya didn't think about it - The fact that Jasmyn and Nicholas had been trying for a baby since they moved out here, but she wasn't able to conceive. . until Elijah went and knocked her up.
"I'm not aborting my child." Jasmyn said as adamant as she could, too. Maya was in support of her best friend's decision, but she knew that the cat would be out of the bag soon enough. "I know it's fucked up and Nicholas will never forgive me, but I can't lose another one." Jasmyn said. Maya lowered her head, holding her stomach as she leaned against the wall.
"Baby, what's wrong?" Sajaír said, going to tend to his fiancé and not the selfish girl that had just broken his brother's heart. Maya was gritting her teeth, taking deep breaths.
"I'm cramping, this isn't supposed to be happening," Maya shook her head. Had she moved around too much or something? She was 5 months pregnant and maybe she shouldn't have been doing all that jumping around. She felt healthy, though. Did she do something wrong?

"You're just going through cramping, darling," Doctor Ariel said, rubbing her hand over Maya's hand. "I don't mind coming out here either, Sage. Your mother and I go way back," She said to Sage, who was panicking. Maya scooted up in the bed, taking his hand with a smile. "And she's alright. Your baby is about the size of a soda can. Sometimes growing will cause occasional cramps, but if you're spotting that's when you'd typically call for things like this." Ariel said, cheesing as she packed up her supplies.
Nicholas had been on the other side, holding Maya's other hand. As drunk as he had been, he had only made it down the beach and he'd come back at the arrival of Ariel's car. No matter the beef, family came first to him. This was his niece that they were talking about. Jasmyn smiled at her best friend, giving her a thumbs up once Ariel had dismissed herself. Having a family doctor had its benefits, but that didn't mean that Maya wasn't scared. 4 months and she would be giving birth to her baby girl in December. She had thought of names, but she wouldn't reveal them until the baby shower.
On top of this, Reign was running her rigged by trying to plan a wedding. Maya let out a sigh in thought, closing her eyes to not only thank God that her baby was safe, but to be alive. Lani entered the room with some lemon water and crackers on a tray, placing them on the bed. "Here you go, I'm going to head to bed. I love you sis. Goodnight everyone," She said, excusing herself out the room. Sajaír was placing kisses all over when Jasmyn tried to tap Nicholas, who yanked his arm back.
Walking out of the room, Jasmyn had been on his heels. She snatched his arm before he could fully leave the stairs, a face of sadness coming over her features. "Please, we need to talk."

"A water with lemon will do," Nicholas said, looking at the iHop menu. He needed to sober himself up and Jasmyn just happened to join him. Most of the lights in the establishment were turned off due to the lack of customers, so it was pretty private. After their orders had been placed and their drinks had came, Jasmyn knew they would have a few minutes to themselves.
"I never intended to hurt you," She started, earning a s off from Nicholas. However, she continued. "I should've been honest."
"How long?" Nicholas asked, balled fists covering his fist as he prepared himself for the answers.
