Le'Lani pulled off on the nearest exit that she could, taking the roundabout exit so that she could turn her car around. She was halfway to her bigger sister's house when Ryan called her phone.

"Man fuck all y'all like I said!" She could hear Ryan screaming on the other end of the phone. Her phone dropped on the curb, but it managed to hold the call. "Hello?"

"Ryan, what the hell going on?" Lani asked, keeping her eyes focused and driving the speed limit to her sisters house. She didn't even know this girl like that, but they hit it off and she was genuinely concerned.

"My hoe ass friends let me at this whack ass fucking party," Ryan said, slurred and all. Lani could tell that she was just a tad bit drunk and infuriated, anger seeping from the tongue as she spoke of her friends.

"Drop your location and I'll give you a ride. I need to call my brother in law though and let him know, okay?" Lani said. Ryan hummed, pulling the phone from her ear before she got the text she needed. The phone disconnected shortly after that.

Lani was driving in unknown territory, turning down the streets the best that she could in the dark ass neighborhood. She had her windows down so that she could see Ryan if needed, but there was no sight of her. She parked her Chevrolet Cruze once she made it to the location, turning her car off and exiting. She carried her Michael Khors purse, her hand inside so that she could hold her taser.

The farther that she walked, the more she could hear the party that was down the street. It was thumping and it was music that she had listened to, but the neighborhood had gone from somewhat good to worse. Littered streets with bottles of alcohol, swisher sweet papers and more started to fill her eyes. Out of the fear in her heart, she picked up the phone to call Sage but there was no answer.

She not only dropped her location, but she tried to call her sister as well. No response. She stepped up to the porch of the house, her Google Maps turning off as she seemed to be at the location. However, there was no Ryan in sight. She entered the house, her eyes immediately hanging low at how thick the smoke had been. It looked small on the inside, but boy was it packed in the inside. People had been where the living room was, dancing on couches to the music and sharing bongs together. There had been some niggas who were playing dice on the fireplace, jumping in excitement at their results and exchange of money.

Lani paced herself appropriately, trying to get through the crowd of people who had bumped into her several times here and there. She clutched her purse before heading upstairs, trying to check and see if Ryan had placed herself in one of the three bedrooms that she could see. The first bedroom contained a little boy who had a headset around his ears, Xbox controller in his hand. The second one had a couple who was getting down, but Lani had ruined that. The third room was completely empty and it seemed to be the unbothered one. Lani stepped inside, locking the door afterwards. She took a seat on the bed, dialing Ryan in hopes that she would pick up.

No response.

Lani stood, going to exit the room immediately. She would check for more rooms downstairs and plus, a couple had barged past her with their lips locked to claim the room. She bounced down the stairs, searching throughout the living room area before heading into the kitchen. Ryan had been leaned against the counter, blunt in her hand as she lit it. A female who was dancing with no rhythm had taken the blunt from her, trying to impress her and further more choking on the smoke.

"Ryan, are you ready to go?" Lani asked when she approached, looking around the area as she did. Ryan had got up from the counter, snatching her blunt and snubbing it out on the counter top near her. She grabbed her hand to exit when a bulky male came from around the corner, bottles of beer in his hands. His eyes were red and low, super low.
