Epilogue:
6 Months Later:
The phone call to the mayor changed their lives, in fact, it changed the lives of everyone who lived in their town. 'Jack the Ripper' the infamous serial killer, was not all that smart, and in fact, not all that strong. The only reason he got away with all his crimes, was because he was so... underwhelming that no one thought that he could possibly be the killer.
But the knife and the confession were enough to turn him in. The knife matched the marks on the victims and the gun he had on him at the time matched certain crimes scenes that didn't match Jack's M.O, but were now able to be linked to him and put onto his list of crimes, enabling the justice system to put him away for a long time.
Spiderman and Deadpool, the two men responsible for catching the killer and assisting in putting him away were given anything they wanted in return, and for the mayor, the request he was given was quite odd, but reasonable when he was given a giant pile of evidence.
The two asked for the police to gutted and restored to a respectable position, guided but someone worthy of the title. The mayor could hardly refuse when he saw the evidence proving so much of the crime in the city was allowed due to the police allowing it to happen right under their noses.
Little did the mayor know, it was not Deadpool and Spiderman that gathered this evidence, but a young girl named Katie Holt, or Pidge. Her unique and hidden hacker skills allowed the two boys to gather all the evidence they needed to fix the police and begin their mission on fixing their city.

"Summer has gotten boring now that there's barely any crime to fight." Lance complained as he fell backwards on the bed, sweat beading on his forehead as the warmth seeped in through the windows.
The sun was setting, but the heat was not lowering on this day and it did not settle with the boy who was bored out of his mind and wanted something to do. His boyfriend, who was clad in almost all black, bar a single red bandana around his wrist chuckled at him.
"Lance, just because the crime has gone down doesn't mean there isn't anything to do. Shiro just made force on the police and we are going out for dinner to celebrate tonight. I'm showering before we go, but it can't possibly be that boring with no crime to fight." Keith states, staring at his boyfriend.
The pair had made it through so much in such a short time. Keith discovering who Lance, no, who Deadpool really was, then Deadpool finding out as well. The pair then worked together over less than two weeks to catch the killer that murdered Keith and Shiro's mother whilst also navigating their new friendship and relationship.
"Yeah, I get that, but I also don't like the fact that we managed to do everything we needed to do, and now we are kinda just useless. Like, we did so much for this city, and now they're just tossing us to the side?" Keith sighed, getting from his seat on the floor next to the mirror and wandering over to his boyfriend on the bed, sitting next to him.
"Lance, it's not like that and you know it. We are still needed, even if they don't know it. We will always be needed. Deadpool and Spiderman until the end." Lance turns his head to stare at Keith,
"Keith and Lance until the end." Keith smile brightly at him, leaning down to press a kiss to his lips. "I love you." Keith chuckles, rubbing his nose against Lance's.
"I love you too. Now hurry up and get ready. Shiro doesn't like you enough to excuse us from being late to dinner." Lance groans and flops back into the bed as Keith's phone rings.
Keith rolls his eyes, pulling the device from his pocket, not recognising the number but answering the call.
"Hello?" The high feminine voice on the other end replies almost instantly.
"Is this Keith Kogane? Relative of Texas Kogane?" Keith furrows his brows as his stomach drops.
"Yes. Is everything okay?" The nurse sighs, as if expecting more questions.
"Yes, everything is fine. In fact, I'm calling to let you know that your father has woken from his coma." The silence of the words ring in the air.
"Babe, is everything okay?" Lance sits up, staring at his boyfriend whose mood suddenly changed.
"What?"
