Kirishima ended up skipping classes that day, so I never got the chance to explain or even apologize. Like Mina advised, I decided to give him space. I can understand needing time to yourself.

But, one day turned into a week, and a week turned into two. Our group was split and I didn't know where I stood. After that day, Bakugou also split off and neither of them would speak to me or Sero.

Kirishima still talked to Mina, but that was the extent of his communication. Every time I would try to talk to either of them, they would either make up an excuse or blatantly ignore me. Sighing, I rest my head on my empty desk.

I felt too uncomfortable to sit at the nearly empty table that was once the Bakusquad's, so I spent most of my lunches in homeroom. Mr. Aizawa never questioned me, probably because he was napping half the time.

I just don't know how to go about this. Zeido, Yima, and I never fought, not like this at least. And the one time Zei and I actually fought, he visited me in the hospital and we worked everything out. This was so new and different that I just didn't know.

Maybe I need outside help. Christa! I pull out my phone and start tapping frantically on the digital keyboard, letting auto-correct fix my mistakes. Hopefully, I wasn't going to interrupt anything important.

Denki: I need some advise like ASAP!

Her reply was almost instant and I sighed in relief. Christa and Zeido were usually good about answering my texts, but sometimes it just couldn't be helped. I'm glad today wasn't one of those days where I'd have to wait.

Chrissy: Of course, what kind of advise? A crush... ;p

My cheeks heat up with a blush at the teasing comment, but I quickly recover. This was important, too important to let my mind wander about something else.

Denki: No, it's really important. You remember Kirishima and Bakugou?

Chrissy: Yeah why?

Denki: They started dating. Before you freak out, they got into a big fight and now Kiri won't talk to anyone except Mina... He's pissed at me and Bakugou.

Chrissy: Why you tho? I seriously doubt you could have done anything that would make him THAT mad.

Blowing the bangs out of my eyes, I think about how I should word this. Would she think less of me? It was accidental, something I wasn't even trying to do, but Kirishima saw it differently. If I could take it back, I would—in a heartbeat.

Chrissy: I can't help if you don't tell me Denks. I won't judge you for something you prolly didn't even mean to do.

Denki: Bakugou mispronounced milk and I started playing along. We were just joking around, but when Kiri found out he was so upset. It's been two weeks since this happened and Kiri still won't let me explain that we meant no offense.

Chrissy: How is that offensive tho? Mispronouncing a word isn't a crime.

Denki: He thought we were mocking people with speech impairments and now he blows me off any time I try to talk to him. Bakugou is avoiding everyone like the plague and they both look miserable. How do I fix this?

The three dots pop up and I tap my fingers impatiently against the polished wood of my desk. My anxiety went up the longer the dots stayed on the screen and I could feel my palms starting to sweat. A small ding signaled a new message.

Chrissy: Personally, I'd go to the explosive man first. You and him did it, so you guys need to form a plan and explain to Kirishima together. Then, things should work out once he realizes it was just a huge misunderstanding.
