Hey guys!Just a quick note: this book might not be as long as the other one, although i would assume that it would already be a known fact, considering that this is the sequel.
i've decided to jump into the plot of the story now, as dragging it out would undermine the plot itself, and wouldn't give it as much of an impact.
the remaining chapters of this book might be on the longer side; pay attention to detail! thanks for the cooperation, and enjoy!
The day was finally here, and Soojin could not be more excited.
Her and Soyeon have been working on this collaboration event for years now, ever since Soojin and her best buddies had opened up their studio, and Soyeon was always looking for new talent.
The girls that were chosen would be drafted into a group called 'Everglow", and the boys would be called 'Ateez'. Yes, Soyeon thought of the names.
"Are you ready, Soo?" Miyeon asked her, as the three girls looked around, smiling to themselves as they observed the crowded auditorium, numerous kids dancing on stage as booths wrapped all the way around the dome, allowing for quality entertainment as well as business ventures.
Much to Soojin's help, Minnie had invested some money into their studio, which enabled them to grow 20 times in size, now becoming one of the most sought after studios in South Korea; the highest of the highest got in.
"I've never been more ready. This should be fun!" Soojin cheered, as she fist bumped the couple, who were too busy staring at each other to acknowledge her presence anymore.
"Why I am always the third wheel?" Soojin thought, as the curtains drew, allowing the three of them to walk on stage, not missing the paparazzi photos and the numerous, thousands of faces in the crowd.
"Hello everyone! We're so glad you could make it out tonight! First off, my name is Soojin, and I'm the co owner along with my good pals Momo and Lisa of 'Culture Studio'!" Soojin introduced herself, the applause making her blush as she handed the mic over to Soyeon.
"Thank you, Soojin. My name is Soyeon, and I'm the founder of 'Jelly Corporation'. Standing next to me is Miyeon, someone who is very close to me, not to mention, is one of the best selling singers of the last 5 years! This collaboration has been something we've been planning for a while now, and we're so glad it can finally happen!" Soyeon introduced herself next, handing the mic over to Miyeon for one final foreword.
"Tonight, we'll be looking for the best of the best, so hit us with your best shot! Good luck to everyone tonight, and make sure to have some fun!" Miyeon smiled, as the audience rushed into applause, the three girls bowing one final time before exiting the stage.
"You did great, guys!" Shuhua, Yuqi, and Minnie stood backstage as they congratulated their friends, Soojin not missing Shuhua's camera that slung onto her neck, the same exact one from high school.
Oh, some things just never change.
"I already have tons of pictures for the article!" Shuhua cheered, high fiving Yuqi, who's face lit up at the guarantee of easier editing.
"Thank god, that would have taken me forever!" Yuqi retorted, as the other girls laughed at their foolishness.
"The dance competition starts in 20 minutes, right?" Minnie asked, as Soyeon nodded.
