Taehyung sat there looking at Irene who was laid on the bed in the ward room, deeply in her sleep.

After what happened at Jaehyun's birthday party, Taehyung immediately drove Irene to the hospital for further check up because Irene was freezing like crazy and had a breathing problem. It made Taehyung panic to see her in such state.

Thankfully she is fine and her condition are stable. According to the doctor, she might just get fever and flu later on. Nothing serious. The doctor gave Irene an injection to calm her down and make her sleep.

It has been like two hours yet Taehyung still sitting there, taking care of her. Wendy did came and offer to take care of Irene but Taehyung insist to do it.

Taehyung remove the warm towel from Irene's forehead and dip it in the bowl of warm water, twisted it and placed it back on her farehead. He placed the back of his hand on Irene's neck to feel her body temperature. It's still hot.

Taehyung sighed. If only he didn't gave up to stop her from going to that bastard birthday party, all of this will never happened.

He admitted. He love Irene. The reason why he wanted her to become his servant before was obviously to get closed to her. But because of his one stupid plan, he ruined everything.

" I'm sorry, Irene. It was all my fault. If I'm not the one who started it first, I'm pretty sure you will never get through all of these. ", he muttered, gently rub her hand with his thumb.

" M-mom. Dad. ", Taehyung looked up at Irene. She was still sleeping but there was tears escaped her eyelid.

" Mom. Don't leave me. ", she whispered but loud enough for Taehyung to heaard her.

" Don't leave me ", she furrowed her eyebrows as if she had a bad dream.

" Irene ? ", Taehyung tried to wake her up but Irene fell back to sleep.

Taehyung wiped off her tears with his thumb and fix the blanket on Irene's body. He caressed her cheek and leaned in to kiss her forehead.

After that, he went to switch off the lamp and went to sleep on the couch, facing Irene. He stared at her for awhile before slowly fell asleep.

Irene blink her eyes open as she felt a  sunlight hitted her face. She looked around just to see a white ceiling, white wall and a heartbeat monitor.

' I'm in a hospital ? ', she thought.

She tried to get up but suddenly she felt dizzy.

" Ugh ", she winced in pain.

The room door got opened and Taehyung walked in with a food tray on his hand.

" You're awake. ", he greeted.

" Taehyung ? ", Irene furrowed her eyebrows as soon as she saw him.

" What happened ? How did I end up being here in the hospital ? ", she asked in confusion.

" Let's talk about it later. Now, you need to eat this porridge and drink this soup. They said it will help you to reduce your fever. ", he said as he took a spoonful of porridge, blow it to warm it a bit and brought it to Irene's mouth.

" Err it's okay. I can do it by myself. ", she said and was about to take the spoon from his hand.

" Just open your mouth and eat. It's not that hard, Irene. ", he coldly said.

" No. It's okay. I - ", Taehyung roughly put the spoon back in the bowl. Feeling annoyed.

" Can't you just listen to me and do as I say for once ? ", he spatted. Irene looked down on her hands as she was fidgeting her fingers.

" I'm sorry, Irene. I was just mad at myself after what has happened to you last night. ", he sighed.

" Don't blame yourself. It was obviously my fault. I didn't listen to you and was blinded by his kindness towards me. I should've trust you since you know him better than I do. But I was too dumb to realize. ", a tears rolled down on her cheek.

Taehyung put the bowl on table and went to sit on the edge of the bed, facing Irene. He wiped off those tears from her cheek.

Irene was caught off guard with his sudden action as her eyes just stared straight into his eyes.

" Stop crying. I hate to see those tears ruining your face. It's fine, Irene. Let's bygones be bygones, okay ? From now on, I will protect you and I'll make sure not to let anyone lay their finger on you. I promised. ", he caressed both of her cheeks with his thumbs.

Irene's lips crack a faint smile.

" No, Taehyung. I caused you a lot of trouble ever since the first day we met. I shouldn't get involved with you or anyone at school. I shouldn't come to Seoul in the first place. This place is not for me. I should go back to Daegu, the place where I belong to. ", she muttered as she look outside the window.

" Irene. Look at me. ", he said and Irene turned to look at him.

" You never caused me any trouble but in fact it was me who caused you a lot of trouble. You got bullied by Jennie and those girls at school was all because of me. You become Jaehyun's target was also because of me. I'm sorry, Irene. I'm really sorry. Please forgive me. " he sincerely apologise as he held both of her hands.

" and I also wanted to apologise for acting so childish back then. The idea of making you as my personal servant sounds so stupid and childish. You must had a hard time right ? ", he scratch the back of his head.

It was an awkward silent. They look at each other for a few seconds before burst into laughter.

" Yeah you're right about that. You are indeed childish for making up that servant-master contract. ", Irene jokingky said as she rolled her eyes.

" Heol ! ", Taehyung scoffed. He then playfully tickled Irene's waist which make her to laugh out loud.

" Arghhhhahahhahah ! No no no ! Taehyung stop ! Hahhahaha ! ", Irene begged him to stop as it was too ticklish but Taehyung kept on tickling her and both of them couldn't stop laughing.

" Ehem ! Ehem ! " someone cleared his throat making both Irene and Taehyung turned to look at the person.

" It's time for check up ", said the doctor as he tapped on his watch.

Irene looked at Taehyung who was smiling sheepishly and playfully slapped his arm.

" Ouch ! ", he winced in pain.

" Serve you right ", she stuck out her tongue.
