The rain was falling heavily outside, leaving you stuck in the house with nothing to do but to continue reading the book you started to read a few days ago. This morning, you woke up to an empty space beside you, leaving you grumpy for the rest of the day that even the maids in the mansion are afraid of you.
A grumpy Y/N is scarier than the demon himself.
And that demon you're talking about is your vampire boyfriend named Choi Jongho. He's not an actual demon, obviously, but you sometimes thinks that he gets possessed by Seonghwa, his friend, because of the way he acts and how he thinks sometimes.
Ruthless, merciless and sinful.
The door to your shared bedroom slightly opened making you look up and there you saw is the man that you'd been thinking about with a demonic smile plastered on his face, his hair and clothes wet because of the rain with blood splattered on his white button-up shirt.
You rolled your eyes and glared at your boyfriend, "Don't smile at me like that, asshole."
The demonic smile was immediately replaced by Jongho's high pitched laughter that rang around around your room.
"What's with you, why are you so grumpy?" He asked as he attempted to sit beside you on the bed but the look you gave was enough for him to abandon his plan and just stand beside the bed.
You glared at him for a while before your expression softened and the thin line on your lips suddenly got replaced by a pout, "You weren't there when I woke up."
Jongho broke out to a soft smile as he grabbed your hand that was holding the book with his slightly bloody hands, "I'm sorry baby, I just had to take care of something. Yeosang hyung called me this morning and said that we're off to a hunt."
Your eyes widen in horror, "By hunt, you mean–"
Jongho immediately shook his head while squeezing your hand, "Not animals, baby."
You let out a sigh of relief, "Oh, not animals." you giggled a bit and then it suddenly hit you, if not animals.. then..?
"CHOI JONGHO!" You screamed and hit him on his arm making your boyfriend jump, a playful smile already plastered on his lips, "I TOLD YOU I'M THE ONLY HUMAN YOU CAN FEED ON!"
"I know! But a man's in need!" Jongho said and sat on their bedroom floor, not letting go of your other hand.
"Yeosang hyung's girlfriend had this guy tailing after her and he wants to get rid of him like totally get rid of him so we gave him a little bit of pain."
You only stared at him with a deadpan expression, totally not buying the fact that he drank from another human, "Did Yeosang drank the human's blood as well?"
"Yes.."
They were silent for a while and youbwere still looking at your boyfriend with the same intensity which made Jongho let out a deep sigh, "Look, I'm sorry okay?"
You raised an eyebrow at him, "Sorry because..?"
"I drank another human's blood."
"And?"
Jongho looked at you with a confused expression, "And what?" He asked and then suddenly, they had this staring contest, Jongho with his confused expression and his girlfriend with an annoyed expression.
The vampire had to think through what he had done wrong and the only thing he could remember aside from the fact that he left you alone this morning is..

Oh...
"Baby, seriously?"
You raised a challenging eyebrow, "Finally thought of it?"
Jongho couldn't help but laugh warmly, "Really? Do I really need to apologize for that?"
"Then don't talk to me!" You said attempting to pull your hand away from your boyfriend's grasp but he held on tighter and said, "Okay baby, I'm sorry!"
"Because?"
"I left you alone in our bed this morning."
"Say it properly!" You demanded, an angry pout plastered on yiur face which made you look cuter in Jongho's eyes.
"I'm sorry because you woke up without me cuddling you this early morning and I'll make it up for you for the whole remaining time today, tomorrow and until death. Better?"
"Better." you said and your pout was replaced with a smile, the smile that Jongho loves the most.
He leaned up and pressed a kiss to your lips, slightly tasting the iron and you grimaced, "Go take a shower, asshole."
He couldn't help but laugh and made his way through the bathroom and not yet entering immediately when he heard his girlfriend call his name from their bed, "Yes?"
"I love you." you said with a whole loving expression seen through your eyes and smile to which he returned and replied, "I love you too, babycakes."
And he couldn't help but laugh when he heard your fake gagging sounds outside the bathroom because of the pet name.
Well, let's just say that through the entirety of the day, no one was able to separate their bodies apart from cuddling and with kisses in between even when the other boys decided to visit them.
