Mary- urgh I feel like shit
Skylar- yeah same I guess that's what hangovers do for you I'm absolutely hanging looks like it's a pjs and movie day with loads of junk food and painkillers, please stay my dad doesn't care how long you stay
Mary- of course I'll stay you're my best friend and besides I'm hanging too
*just then skylars phone buzzed*
Mary- ooo someone's popularrrr
*Sky looks at her phone and to her horror and surprise it's Harvey Mills*
Text messages between Harvey and Sky
Harvey- hey not sure if you still have the same number or not but I do so yeah I don't know what the point of this text message is I guess I'm just wondering if you're okay, it was nice seeing you at the party last night Max and I are proud of you :)
Sky- hey yeah I do have the same number I've never had a reason to change it and yeah the party was fun and I'm fine just hung over Mary and I would appreciate it though if whenever we go to parties that your boys leave us alone I may not talk but I'm still human
Harvey- that's what we kept saying to them but they didn't know that it was you, I need to ask you something
Sky- sure and good I would like to keep it that way
Harvey- do Mary, Ben and Lucas know that we were best friends and that's why Max and I keep sticking up for you? Because Ryan and Jake don't Max and I are debating whether to tell them or not
Sky- don't tell them and no they don't ... honestly I'm thinking it's better if you pretended that I never exited like you have done for the past 4/5 years. We may have been friends from birth but in year 7 that all changed Harvey you guys know the full reason why I stopped talking and it wasn't just because my mum left but you still stood by and let people bully me so why now has everything changed
Harvey- if only you knew... if you want Max and I to stay away from you and not stick up for you or anything then fine but we can't be sure to make any promises we still care about you Skylar
Sky- yeah yeah whatever... I suggest you stop wasting your time goodbye

*at the Mills house*
Harvey- she is not happy at all
*Max walks into their shared room*
Max- who's not happy? What have you done now?
Harvey- I haven't done anything and Sky she's not happy
Max- what did you do?
Harvey- why do you always think I've done something?
Max- because you literally just said she's not happy
Harvey- fine! She's not happy because I messaged her and then I asked her if her friends knew about us being friends with her way back and that we were debating telling Ryan and Jake and she told me to keep it that way she doesn't want them knowing and then she proper slated me for us not being there for her when people were bullying her and just all around stop talking to her
Max- I mean Harvey we didn't really give her the reason why we couldn't talk to her anymore the reason why we dropped her we kind of just left so she's going to be pissed about that, that was 11 years of friendship thrown away because... you know what let's not talk about that
Harvey- she told me she doesn't want us to stick up for her anymore and that she doesn't want us to all of a sudden start caring anymore so I told her we can't make any promises but we will try
Max- start caring? We never stopped caring

*both boys sit in silence for the rest of the morning and then when their mum came home neither of them spoke a word to each other and they just went into their rooms their mum just thought they had an argument and left them too it*
