Jamie's PoV
I got up before anyone in the house this morning. So I got Kai up made him his bottle and put him in his playpen. The house is a mess it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks. Looks like I'm gonna have to put my mind on cleaning and sort this house out. And before you ask no I cannot use my powers to clean the house because that would be personal gain. If we use our powers for personal gain bad things can happen and I'm not just talking about minor things I'm talking about major things I will leave that to your imagination. I run upstairs sneak into our room so that I don't wake Mimi up, I might not be speaking to them at the moment but I still respect them. I get changed and hurry back downstairs because I left Kai on his own. I start cleaning and it doesn't take long before the whole downstairs of the house is spotless and it's a pretty big house I can tell you that. The white floors are shining to the point where I can see my reflection in them. I don't blame them for my grams's death I just don't want to talk to them for fear that I might take my anger out on them and an angry witch is never a good thing. I sit for a while but then get bored so i put Kai in his pushchair (stroller) and leave a note saying I've gone for a walk with him. It's sunny and I already had shorts and a t-shirt on so I was dressed suitable for the weather. I walk to the park about half an hour down the road from the house. It's weird to think that Kai isn't actually Max and Sky's son, they treat him so much like one they're a little family and it's so cute. I wish I had... well I wish I had Harvey but he probably hates me now after the fiasco last night. I put Kai in a baby swing and push him for a while and take some photos of him smiling and laughing so that I can send them to everyone later in the "family" group chat that we have. I was just putting him back in his pushchair (stroller) when someone tapped me on the shoulder me being jumpy turned around really fast and put my hand over Kai so that no one could grab him. To my surprise it was a very shocked boy around about my age with grey eyes, brown hair, tall but muscly build.
Boy- hey sorry to startle you there
Jamie- oh it's fine don't worry about it
Boy- you dropped this *he says handing her the pacifier*
Jamie- oh thank you *she says taking it from him* he would have kicked off if we left without it
Boy- aren't you a little young to have a baby?
Jamie- oh no! He's not mine. He's my friends. I'm currently living with my group of friends and one of their uncles.
Boy- yeah you don't sound like you're from here
Jamie- oh I'm from London England but I moved here a while ago I guess the accent has just stayed with me my friends are from England too
Boy- do you go to the local high school?
Jamie- yeah I've been going there for a few years now
Boy- really?! How come I've never seen you around?
Jamie- well I had a lot of family trouble and I got pulled out of school after my first year I'm going back soon though at the start of the term
Boy- what's a term?
Jamie- a term is a semester but over in England we call it a term I don't know why *she slightly laughs*
Boy- oh okay *he chuckles* well my name is Ellis by the way
Jamie- and my name is Jamie
Ellis- nice to meet you Jamie *he holds his hand out for her to shake*
Jamie- nice to meet you too Ellis *she shakes his hand*
Ellis- I'll see you around school then?
Jamie- yeah *she smiles*
*ellis walks away and Jamie takes Kai home*
