*everyone runs upstairs*
Jamie- guys! Stay there! We're being ambushed! *she automatically starts chanting a spell and waving her hands about in a synchronised state. The wind starts picking up from the open window and it feels like a hurricane. The door slams closed and she is trapped in a room with 3 Kitsunae's. There was bother loud crash and then silence. The others couldn't get the door open for a moment until it magically released and they managed to get in to see Jamie laid on the floor*
*20 minuets later and Jamie wakes up in a clean room and with the others surrounding her*
Mimi- okay. What was that and why did you faint?
Jamie- I was practicing more spells and then someone came behind me and grabbed me. It wasn't long before I sensed what it was and how evil it was. I then started chanting the only spell that I knew that could hurt a Kitsunae badly enough to turn them to ash but not to kill them as I haven't learned that spell yet. I then put a force field on the house so that only the people who live in it can get in. It must have been too much magic to harness for my first proper spell because my nose started bleeding and I got really weak and then the next thing I know I'm waking up with you guys hovering above me.
Harvey- you should have let us in to help you we could have fought them off so that you didn't use that much magic
Jamie- they were there for me. They know I have my powers now it was only a matter of time before people started coming after me too. It was my fight I didn't want any of you getting hurt. Plus that spell could have seriously hurt you guys too that's why I locked you out of the room. I wasn't sure if it was only directed to the people I wanted it to be directed at or every Kitsunae in that room and I just couldn't risk it.
Mimi- you're on powerful witch Jamie *she smiles*
Jay- yeah all of a sudden I feel so much safer now
Jamie- I must warn you. The force field only stops supernatural creatures that don't live here from getting in. It doesn't stop humans. So you might wanna be careful with the human company that you keep too. *she says sitting up*
Max- thank you Jamie
Jamie- it's my duty. Plus you guys are really cool people so I couldn't exactly let you die *she laughs*
Max- now I think we all need to get some rest so that we can cook up a plan tomorrow and hopefully put it in place*
Jay- I agree. Night all
*they all go to their separate rooms for the night*
*6 am and everyone other than Jamie is asleep so she goes down to the back garden creates a soundproof barrier and starts practicing her spells so that she knows what she's doing when going to save sky and melody*
*2 hours later*
Harvey's PoV
I wake up and look out of my window and see Jamie practicing her spells in the back garden. Now before you say anything it's high fenced so no one can see her. She must have created some sort of soundproof barrier because I can't hear her either unless I'm going deaf but I have superheating so that's impossible. She's so... pretty. She's got rib length died red hair. Beautiful brown eyes and she's short too which is cute. She has a decent body too but what shines over all of that is her bubbly caring protective personality. I've only known her a short time but I think I'm catching feelings? It's been a while since Mary died and even though we weren't a thing it's kind of scared me away from dating. I won't jump into things too quick but I do want to see where this goes. I walk passed Kai's room to see that he's not there so I rush downstairs and see that he's in his playpen with a soggy slice of toast in one hand and his milk in the other. She fed him and dressed him too? Jesus Christ what can't this girl do?! I run back upstairs and get dressed and return back downstairs to see Kai's teddy's floating above him and him fast asleep. She must have heard him crying and sorted him out and gone back to what she was going because when I looked she was still outside practicing. I walk outside and just stand there in awe and she's making all these things happen. Things blowing up. Things disappearing. Things melting. Things floating. Things dying and being brought back to life. It's like Harry Potter except she's doing all this with her hands words and mind and not with some shitty wand. I think she noticed me because she stopped what she was going and I could suddenly hear her again.
Jamie- hey Harv, how long have you been stood there?
Harvey- oh not long about 10 minutes. It just fascinated me with what you were doing. How have you mastered all of that?
Jamie- well grams was right when she said that I will just wake up and know every spell and everything off by heart. Still need practice though. So even after we have saved sky and melody I need to practice not really to learn anything new but to make my powers stronger. I've also realised that the crystal can help me harness my ancestors powers too when I really need them I just have to go into some sort of state and let them lend me all the power that I need through the crystal. But I need someone to hold the thing we're fighting off for a short time while I tap into it.
Harvey- wow... you found all that out in a few hours?
Jamie- you'd be surprised
Harvey- I noticed that you sorted Kai out
Jamie- yeah he was awake and you all looked so tired last night so I sorted him out so you guys could sleep in.
*just then there was a huge crash that came from inside the house. Jamie and Harvey both looked at each other and than ran in as fast as they could*
