*a couple weeks later and they have all been becoming closer and hanging out however there is still loads of awkward tension between Sky And Max and Harvey and the rest of the group can sense it but never say anything about it. They are all chilling at jakes house in his room which is huge so it fit them all in with room for more people*
Jake- so what do you guys wanna do today then?
Mary- I mean it's the first day of the 2 week Easter holidays so we can literally do anything
Ryan- Max you're usually good with ideas, what do you wanna do? Or think we should do?
Max- no idea mate, Harvey?
Harvey- no idea, Ben?
Ben- I never make the plans *he raises his hands up in defence* lucas?
Lucas- yeah because I make the plans *he says sarcastically* Sky?
Sky- we could go camping for a few days?
*surprisingly everyone liked the camping idea and before they all knew it they were packed and set up in the middle of a woods in no time*
Mary- *swatting flies away* who's idea was it to camp in the woods?
Harvey- blame Max for that one
Max- what? It's better than camping in the middle of a field *he shrugs*
Ryan- yeah we don't want no weirdos getting into our tent and playing with our hair when we're sleeping *he laughs*
Ben- you're strange you *he laughs*
Jake- right *he says staggering out of the tent* who's sleeping where?
Skylar- I'm not fussed
Mary- well I want to sleep at one of the ends I can't stand being in the middle
Jake- right Mary you're on the right side, then it's Ben then it's Ryan then it's Harvey then it's Lucas then it's Sky then it's Max
Skylar's PoV
Great I'm not only sandwiched between 2 boys for the entirety of the time that we're going camping but Max is one of them! I haven't slept in the same room as Max for years... this is going to be fun I mean at least I have Lucas to keep me sane. What if this was jakes plan to put me next to Max in hopes that we become closer again and then he's going to try the same with Harvey maybe doing something different though. Jake needs to understand that me and the boys will probably never be the same again. I saw Max's face when he said that I was sleeping next to him, he did not look impressed and not because it's me just because the fact that Jake was so sly with doing it. Everyone sat and talked for a while, I didn't say anything I didn't feel like talking then we all decided that we were gonna go to bed because it was starting to get late and we were all starting to get tired. I lay down next to Max and he simply just glances at me and then turns his back to me. We don't speak or act like we're friends we're simply just in the same friendship group, I stay awake for a while then I feel my eyes getting heavy and then drift off to sleep slowly. I'm in a deep sleep when I'm lightly woken up by someone's arms around me I opened them to see that I was facing Lucas so it couldn't be him I then realised that it was Max I didn't know what to do so I just left him and went back to sleep.
*in the morning*
Ryan- *shakes Harvey awake* Harvey wake up *he whispers*
Harvey- huh? Ugh what time is it? *he whispers back*
Ryan- look at Max and Sky
Harvey- *looks over* is that all you wanted to tell me?
Ryan- but they literally act like they hate each other and they're cuddling
Harvey- people do weird things in their sleep and they don't hate each other I guess seeing each other everyday and not talking is easier than re-opening old wounds
Ryan- what happened between them? Because you and her seem to be getting a long fine well a lot better than them
Harvey- it's not my place to say but let me just tell you Max always had a huge crush on Sky and same with her but then something happened just before we stopped speaking and they have never been the same since I can't tell you much more because like I said it's not my place to say. *yawns* can I go back to sleep now?
Ryan- *yawns* yeah I think that's what I'm gonna do too
*a few hours later and they all get woken up by Mary screaming at the top of her lungs*
Skylar- *jumps up* what's wrong what's wrong?!
Ben- what the fuck? Mary what's up?!
Harvey- where's the fire?!
Lucas- Mary?!
Jake- urgh what's wrong now?!
Ryan- that was so loud!
Max- spider?
Mary- spider
Ben- okay I'm gonna say it seen as no one else is gonna say it... why did you need to scream that loud for a spider?
Mary- you have no idea how scared I am of them!
Ben- still didn't need to scream that loud though did you? You could have woken someone up to get it if you're scared of them
Mary- *opens her mouth to say something to Ben and then notices that Max still has his arm around Sky* umm what are you guys doing?
*everyone looks at them and then Max realises and immediately takes his arm from around her and gets up and walks out of the tent*
Harvey- yeah I'll go get him
Jake- okay what was that?
Skylar- I don't know, I woke up and he was like that
Jake- no I mean why did he storm off like that he only had his arm around you
Ryan- it's complicated
Mary- *looks confused* how do you know?
Ryan- it's not my place to say
*everyone looks at each other in confusion*
