*a few hours later and Sky was laying on her bed watching a movie when her phone buzzed she looked down and the contact name that came up was Max she hesitated for a moment and then finally opened the message*
Text messages between Max and Sky
Max- hey umm I'm sorry this is kind of out of the blue but do you wanna come over?
Sky- what now? Max do you have any idea what time it is?
Max- you can stay over, we don't need to be in the same bed I will bunk with Harvey and you can have my room
Sky- you don't need to do that but sure I will come over
Max- see you in 10?
Sky- Max you live the street over from me I won't be that long you numpty
Max- well I'll see you soon
*end of text messages*
*downstairs*
Dave- Sky hunny where are yo- *he cuts off knowing that she won't reply*
Sky- I'm going to Max and Harvey's house *she smiles*
Dave- you spoke! Myles come quick!
*Myles runs down the stairs and greets his dad and sister at the bottom*
Myles- what's up?! *he says worriedly*
Dave- *with tears in his eyes* Skylar spoke
Myles- oh my *he says throwing his arms around her*
Sky- okay guys *she laughs* I'm trying my best to speak more because if I'm honest I think I need to step out of my comfort zone and I can't use not speaking as a protest for mum to come back because it's been years and she hasn't even contacted so I need to make you guys happy so I'm going to start that by speaking more *she smiles*
*they all have a family hug and Dave breaks it*
Dave- okay you better get going then or Max and Harvey will be wondering where you are
Myles- Max and Harvey?
*sky looks at him*
Myles- have fun baby sis *he smiles*
*sky waves her dad and brother goodbye and then starts her walk to the Mills house*
Sky's PoV
Now it's time to show the boys that I'm not scared to speak anymore even though I already kind of speak to Max plus I think Sara and Paul will be surprised to hear me speak again seen as they haven't heard me speak in like 7 years and the boys weren't friends with me for almost 5. I walk down the street a little more before turning on to Max and Harvey's street when I see Lexie coming out of the woods by their house with a guy. She looks at me and I put my head down then I hear my name being called and someone briskly grabbing my shoulder and spinning me around and surprise surprise it was Lexie. I just look at her waiting for her to say something and she finally opens her awful mouth and speaks
Lexie- oh would you look at that. Fancy seeing you here *she sniggers*
*she just looks at her*
Lexie- that's right you can't talk
Sky- it's not that I can't talk it's that I won't talk and why would I waste my breath and speech on scum like you?
Lexie- scum like me? It's not my fault your boyfriend wanted me more than you *she laughs*
Sky- Max never wanted you, you stupid bitch you forced yourself on him, you're forgetting I saw everything happen I just didn't want to believe Max at the time because I was hurt. Now go back to shagging this poor innocent boy in the woods and leave me and the boys and my friends alone
Lexie- *laughs* or what?
Sky- you'll see *she turns to walk away when Lexie spins her back around*
*Lexie punches Sky in the face and without thinking sky looses all forms of calmness she had left in her and she starts punching Lexie and she manages to get her to the floor Lexie manages to get out of Sky's grip and digs her nails into Sky's face. Sky manages to get grip on her again and does more damage to Lexie than what Lexie has done to her soon they hear two familiar voices shouting their names and then Sky feels herself being pulled away and picked up she looks forward and sees that Harvey has pulled Lexie up and is shouting at her to leave and she looks at the person carrying her and it was Max as soon as Lexie was out of sight the boys started fussing over Sky*
Harvey- what happened?!
Sky- I was literally on my way to your house because Max texted me asking me if I wanted to come over and then I saw Lexie walking out of the woods with some boy obviously back to her old ways if you know what I mean and then she started an argument with me about not talking so I told her that I'm not talking because I'm not wasting my breath on someone like her and then I told her to go back to shagging that poor innocent boy in the woods and I turned back around to carry on walking and she turned me around and punched me and then I lost all calmness I had and fucked her up basically *she rambles as the adrenaline was still pumping through her veins*
*both boys look at each other Harvey more in shock than Max at the fact that she had just spoken to them Max was more in shock that she'd actually been in a fight with someone*
Harvey- you just spoke to me
Sky- yeah because I can't just not speak in protest until my mum comes back because if she was gonna come back she would have come back 7 years ago besides you guys always have been and always will be my best friends I want to make you guys happy I told my dad and brother the same thing minus the best friends thing *she smiles*
Max- *smiles* sky we need to get you cleaned up your a mess
Sky- why what's wrong with me?
Harvey- you cant feel it?
Sky- feel what?
Max- your face is deeply cut open from where Lexie dug her nails into you and you have a bust lip and a black eye
Harvey- yeah you may need stitches
Sky- urgh fuck it now lets go to yours shall we?
*they all walk back to the Mills*
