Zach slowly opens his eyes and looks at the alarm clock.

They still had three hours of sleep until they got up.

The blond suddenly tightened his hold of Zach and unconsciously pecked his head.

Zach smiled like a stupid person in love.

He turns around, leans against his chest and closes his eyes.

A small dip is felt on the bed.

Zach opens his eyes.

"Zachy?" A little feminine voice was heard.

"Hey hun...everything okay?"

"I had a nightmare."

Zach pulls away from Jack and pats the spot in the middle of them.

"Gosh, you're freezing sweetie."

"I tried to push the bad dream away like dad says but it didn't get out of my head."

"It's okay hun, you're safe with us now okay?"

Jack turns to them and starts snoring lightly.

He and Liberty chuckle.

Jack furrows his eyebrows and cracks one eye open.

"Lily? What?"

"She had a nightmare."

"Do you want tea?"

"Yeah." Jack sighs tiredly and pushes the covers off of him.

"I'll go, you sleep."

"No no no, you sleep... I'm already up."

"You're so stubborn."Jack returns this with a sleepy wink.

Zach rolls his eyes and picks up Liberty.

The three walk to the kitchen.

Jack starts making tea for the three while Zach picks up Liberty and sets her and himself on the counter.

The girl leans against the brunet and sighs.

Zach makes a point to peck her head lovingly.

"What was the nightmare about hun?"Jack asks.

"Zombies...and a huge man with a armour stole me from you two."

"Oh I got those all the time, I know exactly what to do."

"You do?" Liberty and Jack ask in unison.

"Yeah."

"How?"

"I normally just imagine me defeating all the zombies and being praised by the world."

Jack chuckles.

"Works everytime."

"So no boys to come rescue me?"

"Of course not! You don't need a man to save you. You're a girl, girls are amazing."

The blond smiles softly and hands them their tea cups.

"Thanks bubs." Zach sips on it.

"Thanks dad."

"No problem sweeties." Jack sips on the tea.

A nice silence settled in.

"What are you doing here?" Liberty asked bluntly.

"I had some trouble in my apartment...and I was scared to be alone."

"Really?"

"Yeah."
