*a few days later*

"Babies, I'm home!" Jack announces.

Zach and Liberty run to the front door, yelling at the same time:

"Dad dad dad dad!"

"Babe baby babyyyyy."

"Yes?" Jack smiles.

"Can we adopt a cat?"

"Can we? can we? can weeeeeee?" The two pout.

"You gotta take care of the cat."

"Hes an adult!" Liberty argues.

"Yeah I'm responsible!" Zach smiles.

"Okay okay, I guess we can...but tomorrow okay? Today i just wanna eat a burger."

"If you want to I can go get it...you're tired baby...unless you wanna go with me..."

"Nope! Out of question! Last time you two went together the food was cold!"

"Fine fine, I'll go with Liberty...i gotta have a word with her too."

"Ohhhh someone's in trouble."Zach teases.

They chuckle.

Jack and Liberty sit down on his car.

" So...lemme see the ring."

The blond hands her the box.

She opens it and gasps.

"Wow...dad it's so pretty!" She pouts.

"Do you think he'll like it?"

"He'll love it."

The two set the bags on the kitchen counter.

"Don't forget to record it." Jack mutters as he carefully puts the ring of the onion ring paper bag.

"Can't wait." She giggles.

They walk to the living room and all sit down and eat.

"How was school baby?"

"It was good... ya know, the usual."

"How's Dani? I haven't seen him in a while..."

"Oh he went with Jonah to Paris... i thought he told you about this."

"He must have, but I forgot." They chuckle.

Zach was about to get an onion ring when Liberty called him.

"Hey mom?"

"Yes hun?"

"How's your painting going?"

"Oh hun, it's going good...im a bit stuck about what I should do next, but. I'm sure I can work it out." He smiles and takes another bite at his hamburger.

"Gosh this is delicious, but it makes me so fat."

"Oh please...you're perfect." Jack comments.

"Not you saying you're fat when you literally look amazing." Liberty says shocked.

Zach smiles.

"Thank you babies...that means a lot."

The brunet grabs a onion ring and eats it.

Jack and Liberty release a breath they didn't know they were holding.

"Is everything okay?" Zach asks.

"Yeah."

"Of course." They smile. nervously.

"Alright then..." Zach looks confused.

They chuckle.

"I'm just...excited for something." Liberty starts recording.

"Yeah..."

"Okay there's definitely something happening."

"What do you mean?"

"You two are acting weird."

"We are weird."

"Well, yes...but you know what I meant!"

"We do?" Liberty asks.

"Yes you do!" He takes out another onion ring, this one with the engagement ring around it.

Jack quickly notices this.

"What about you? " He asks in a cheeky tone.

Zach rolls his eyes and takes a bite, accidentally biting the ring.

He looks at it and gasps.

"WHAT THE FUCK... JACK-" He slaps his mouth.

The blond smiles.

"What?"

"IS THIS YOURS?" He yells, a few tears running down his eyes.

"Lemme check."Jack shakily opens the empty box.

" It's not mine... it must be yours." He smiles widely.

"JACK-" He slaps his own mouth closed.

"Yes that is my name...are you marrying me or not?"

"OF COURSE!" He yells once again and jumps onto his lap.

"Baby! I was not counting on that!" He wipes his tears.

They laugh.

"Well, it was about time I asked you don't ya think?"

"Gosh I love you."

Jack slides the ring on his finger.

"Do you like it baby?"

"I love it...i really do." He wipes his tears.

"I love you."

"I love you too babe." Jack smiles.

"STOP THAT WAS ADORABLE." Liberty wipes her own tears.

"Cmere hun...cry with me." Zach opens his arms.

The three hug, all teary eyed.

Jack wipes his lover's and daughter's tears.

"You know I love the both of you so very much but i really wanna finish my burger."

They all laugh.

The couple was getting back to their room after tucking Liberty in.

Poor thing fell asleep on Zachs lap.

Jack closed their door and grabbed the brunets hand, making him to turn to Jack.

The brunet smiled.

"Hey babe...you do know that we sleep in the same bed right?"

"I do...but you're so gorgeous I just have to stare for a while."

"Oh don't say that."

"I mean it baby...I'm so happy you said yes."

"I couldn't think of saying anything else...you're really everything I ever wanted."

Jack connects their lips sweetly.

"I love you baby...so damn much."

"I love you too too...you make me the happiest." He smiles completely in love.

Jack pins him gently to the door.

"Wanna celebrate tonight?"

His fiancé nods excitedly.

The blond starts kissing his neck.

"Don't forget that Liberty-"

"It's in the other room, I know." They chuckle.

"God I love you."
