∞ Later that Night ∞

Sam and Ethan walked into the room carrying a duffel bag each.

"-think we've got a serious lead on the thing that killed Mom. So, uh, this warehouse-it's 1435 West Erie. Dad, if you get this, get to Chicago as soon as you can" Dean hanged up

" Voicemail?" asked Sam

"Yeah" Dean gestured at their duffel bags "Jesus, what'd you guys get?"

Ethan and Sam looked at each other and chuckled

"We ransacked that trunk" said Sam

"Umm, we got Holy water, every weapon that we could think of, exorcism rituals" - Ethan looked at Sam

"-from about half a dozen religions" added Sam "we don't know what to expect, so i guess we  should just expect everything"

Dean nodded, before grabbing his gun and began loading it. The two followed suit.

"Big Night" said Dean amidst the silence

"Mhm" Ethan sounded.

"Yeah, you guys nervous?" asked Sam

"Nope" said Dean before turning to Ethan with an asking face

Ethan shook his head before looking at Sam," You nervous Sam? " he asked

"No. No Way" said Sam before silence took over the three, "God, could you imagine if we actually found that damn thing? That demon?" asked Sam sounding excited

"Then we can finally put this all behind us" said Ethan with a smile

" Let's not get ahead of ourselves, all right?" reminded Dean

" I know. I'm just sayin, what if we did? What if this whole thing was over tonight? Man, I'd sleep for a month. Go back to school-be a person again" said Sam

"You wanna go back to school?" asked Dean

" Yeah, once we're done huntin' the thing"

" Huh"

" Is there something wrong with that, Dean?" asked Ethan

" No, no. It's uh great. Good for him" said Dean

" Yeah it is"

" What are you guys gonna do when it's all over?" asked Sam

" Uhh, I dunno, I might try a job, see what that's like" said Ethan

" Got any job in mind?"

" A veterinarian maybe" answered Ethan before looking at Dean who was awfully quiet, "what about you Dean?"

"... it's never gonna be over. There's gonna be others. There's always gonna be something to hunt"

" But there's got to be somethin' that you want for yourself-" Sam was cut off

" Yeah, I don't want either of you to leave the second this thing's over." Dean looked at Ethan who silently got back to loading his gun before nodding. Dean looked at Sam,who was looking at Ethan, before walking over to his dresser.

Sam turned to Dean, "Dude, what's your problem?"

Dean stayed silent for a while before turning to Sam and Ethan who were looking at him."Why do you think I drag you two everywhere? Huh? I mean, why do you think I came and got you at Stanford in the first place? Why do you think we came to get Ethan?"

" 'Cause Dad was in trouble. 'Cause you wanted to find that thing that killed Mom" answered Sam

" Yes, that, but it's more than that, man" he became silent for a moment, "You and Ethan and Me and Dad-I mean, I want us...I want us to be together again. I want us to be a family again"
