Nightmare pt. 2

∞ Later that night, Impala ∞

Dean was driving, Ethan still looked worried as he looked at Sam who held his forehead as he put his phone on his ear.

"Roger Miller. Ah... no no, just the address please. Ok, thanks" Sam put the phone down and turned to Dean, "450 West Grove, Apartment 1120"

"Sam are you sure that you're okay?" asked Ethan from the back

"Yeah, Ethan, I'm-I'm fine" answered Sam.

Dean looked at him, " If you're not just tell me cause If you're gonna hurl I'll pull the car over y'know, cause the upholstery... "

" I'm fine"

" All right"

" Just drive"

Sam looked at a worried looking Ethan in the rearview mirror before looking at Dean. He sighed heavily before looking away.

"I'm scared Dean... Ethan... These nightmares weren't bad enough, now I'm seeing things when I'm awake? And these, visions, or whatever, they're getting more intense. And painful"

" It'll be fine, you'll be alright Sammy" said Ethan, anxious in his voice.

Dean glanced at Ethan in the rearview mirror. "too much coffee..." He mumbled

" What is it about the Millers. Why am I connected to them, why am I watching them die? Why the hell is this happening to me?" asked Sam

" I don't know Sam but we'll figure it out. We've faced the unexplainable everyday. This is just another thing" assured Dean.

" What if it's not...? " asked Ethan

Dean looked at Ethan, " Alright, no more coffee for you" he said before looking back at the road again. Ethan looked at him shocked. He leaned on the seat and looked out of the window.

"Dean, this isn't just another thing, it's never been on us. It's never been in the family like this. Tell the truth, you can't tell me this doesn't freak you out"

There was a long pause, " This doesn't freak me out" said Dean

Sam looked at him then looked away.

∞ 450, West Grave ∞

The Impala slowed down as the three saw Roger walking towards his apartment building.

Sam stuck his head out of the window, "Hey Roger" he called out

Roger, carrying a plastic bag, turned to him, "What are you guys, missionaries? Leave me alone" he said without stopping

" We just want a word!" said Ethan

" Please! " added Sam.

Dean stopped the engine, Sam and Ethan got out of the car and ran to Roger.

They got to him just as he entered the building.

"Please! Hey, hey, hey, hey!" tried Sam

Ethan knocked on the glass door. "Roger! Please, Roger!"

Roger turned to them, "I don't want your help" he said  before walking away.

" We're not priests, you gotta listen to us! " Sam called after him

Dean ran up to them, " Roger you're in danger! " he yelled. He looked around. "Come on. Come on come on"

Sam, Ethan and Dean ran around the corner to a back entrance. Dean tried it and found it locked. He looked around before kicking it down. The three jumped up to the first level of the fire escape before running up the stairs.
