Faith pt. 1

∞ Night ∞

Dean parked near an abandoned house. It was the house that a creature they were tracking ran off to with two children. The three got out of the car. They went to the trunk and Dean opened it.

He pulled out two taser guns.

"What do you got those amped up to?" asked Sam

"A hundred thousand volts" answered Dean, before giving one to Sam and pulling another one out of the Impala.

"Damn" commented Sam

"Yeah, I want this rawhead extra frickin' crispy. And remember, you only get one shot with these things. So make it count" Dean advised  before giving one to Ethan, who looked unsure, and closed the trunk.

"You know we can just burn this thing, right?" Ethan pointed out as he looked at the taser gun.

" Where's the fun in that? Now come on" said Dean before the three ran inside.

∞ Later ∞

After scouring the whole house they headed for the basement.

They walked down the stairs with their tasers ready in one hand and a flashlight in the other. A sound made them look at a cupboard. They slowly walked over it. Sam and Dean positioned on each side as Ethan readied to open it.

"On three" whispered Ethan, "One, two, three", he swung the door open.

What they saw wasn't a monster, it was a little boy and a little girl crouching and covering their ears.

"Is it still here?" whispered Sam. The boy nodded.

"Ok. Grab your sister's hand, come on, we gotta get you out of here. Let's go, let's go" They guided the children to the stairs. " Alright, go! "

Sam volunteered by motion and made the two go up first.

As Ethan and Dean watched them leave a hand grabbed Sam's foot from under the stairs. The children screamed and ran to the top of the stairs.

"Sam!" screamed Ethan and Dean. Dean reacted first and shot the figure, but he missed.

"Sam! Go!" ordered Ethan.

"Dean, here take this!". Sam threw his taser gun to Dean. Dean signed Ethan to go left while he go right. Ethan nodded before they started searching.

While searching, Ethan noticed a movement and turned to it only to get shoved into a pile of boxes, he fell down and a heavy box fell on his back causing him to wince in pain. He composed himself, aimed at the creature and shot at it, but he missed. He saw Dean coming, "Dean!" He called, alerting his brother. Dean turned around and got tackled by the creature. Ethan rolled on his side and the heavy box fell off of him as Dean crawled to his taser, which was in a big puddle of water. He aimed at the creature who was walking in the puddle towards him.

"Dean, No!" yelled Ethan as he ran to him.

Dean shot the creature, electrocuting it. The electricity coursed through the water electrocuting Dean as well. They both shook and twitched as Ethan grabbed ahold of Dean, who fell unconscious while the creature fell on the ground, dead. Ethan endured the electricity from Dean until he managed to take him out of the puddle.

Ethan lied Dean down on the floor. Panting, Ethan shook Dean, "Dean! Dean, c'mon Wake up! Dean!"

He heard the door open, "Dean!" He heard Sam call out then the creaking of stairs.

"Sammy's here, look. C'mon wake up!", Ethan tried but still got no response.

Sam kneeled beside them and put his arm on Ethan's back. Ethan looked up at him with a hopeless face. "Dean, hey", Sam sadly cooed as he held Dean's face and looked at Ethan.
