Bugs pt. 2

∞ Impala, Night ∞

Behind the steering wheel of the Impala was Sam. Ethan was leaning his left arm over the passenger seat. He was holding up a flashlight to his Dad's Journal, which Dean was reading.

"You know, I've heard of killer bees, but killer beetles? What is it that could make different bugs attack?" Dean asked

" Well, hauntings sometimes include bug manifestations" Sam answered

" Yeah, but I didn't see any evidence of ghost activity" Dean said. "Did you?" He turned to Ethan and saw him sleeping on his arm."How ar- he looked at Ethan's hand and saw the flashlight lodged in Ethan's watch.

He took the flashlight before he reached over and pushed Ethan, which caused him to lean on the backseat softly snoring.

"I didn't see any ghost activity neither" Sam said as Dean sat properly.

" Maybe they're being controlled somehow. You know, by something or someone" Dean theorized

" You mean, like Willard? "

" Yeah, bugs instead of rats"

" There are cases of psychic connections between people and animals-elementals, telepaths" Sam explained

" Yeah, that whole Timmy-Lassie thing", Dean had a look of realization " Larry's kid-he's got bugs for pets"

"Matt?"

"Yeah"

"He did try to scare the realtor with a tarantula"

" You think he's our Willard? "

" I don't know. Anything's possible, I guess"

" Ooh, hey. Pull over there" Dean suddenly said

Sam pulled into the empty driveway of one of the Oasis Plains homes.

"What are we doing here?" Sam asked.

Dean got out of the car and opened the garage. He walked up to the car. "it's too late to talk to anybody else and Ethan's out cold" he reasoned

"We're gonna squat in an empty house?" Sam asked

" I wanna try the steam shower. Come on" Dean said. When he saw Sam not moving the car, " Come on!" He persuaded

Sam reluctantly parked the car in the garage before Dean closed it.

Dean opened the door to the backseat. "Hey, help me out" he said as he reached for Ethan.

"Oh boy..." Sam said sounding defeated.

∞ Morning ∞

Sam approached the bathroom, he heard the shower still running. He knocked on the door.

"You ever comin' out of there?" Sam asked

The door opened. Ethan stood there brushing his teeth.

"I thought-Ethan cut Sam off by holding up a finger as he rinsed his mouth in the sink.

"Where'd you get that?" Sam asked.

Ethan nodded to the medical cabinet as he dried his mouth with a towel.

"Where's Dean?"

"He's still in there" Ethan said

"Dean?" Sam called out

"What?" Dean asked as he turned the shower off

" Sam has something to say" Ethan said.

Dean peeked out of the shower curtain. "How'd you two get in here?"
