Chapter 14: Bad Luck

EZIO P.O.V
I could still hear the guards behind me. I grabbed onto the bark of a tree. I pulled myself up it. I grabbed onto a branch and pulled myself up. Katniss followed me up. I crawled into the middle of the tree. The guards around us passed by the tree. We were safe. I sighed and leaned my head against the tree. I probably had a giant bounty on my head now. And hers too.

THE DOCTOR P.O.V
I awoke with a splitting headache. It was so dark I couldn't see. I tried to move, but I couldn't. The snow had compacted around me. A air bubble had formed around my head from my warm breath. I then realized that I didn't have Ember with me. I started panicking. Where was she? All the snow from that mountain must of fallen. The snow was probably 20 feet deep in places.

FARKAS P.O.V
I was lying on my back. I had managed to cover my mouth with my hands. The snow didn't come in to my mouth then. But I was trapped. I kicked at the snow. My legs couldn't move. I thrashed my arms around. The snow was very hard to move. I focused on letting the beast into my mind. I felt a newfound strength, and I pushed my way up. I finally reached the surface. I pushed myself out with my claws. I could smell where everyone was. The one closest was Danny. I dug down at the snow, digging a hole towards him. I dug up his leg. I grabbed it and pulled him up out of there.
"Thanks."
I nodded. The Doctor was next closest. I kept digging, until I found him. He was almost blue from the cold, and his teeth were chattering.
"G-good job, Far-Farkas." I patted him on the shoulder.

KEEVAN P.O.V
I pulled. Myself out of the divot. I couldn't see anyone else. I walked over the snow. I tried to tread lightly, but I was slowly sinking with each step.
"Hello? Is anyone home?" I yelled out. No reply. I summoned flames to keep me a little warmer. The blizzard was still in full force. I kept walking forward. I could tell something was wrong though. I could almost feel it in the air. The blizzard was almost...hiding something. I spun around. A man was standing behind me. He looked like a nord, and he had black hair.
"Who are you?" I asked him. I noticed my Tongue was out of my mouth again.
"Don't you remember Keevan? Don't you remember the screaming? Remember me, standing in the fire? And her? Soaked in blood?" He said to me. I backed away from him, and a shiver went down my spine.
"Oh wait, you won't remember. That club may have hit you too hard." He snickered. He dashed closer to me. I felt a blade slide into my stomach. He held it in for a moment longer, and whispered in my ear.
"Remember Drakus."

KARLIAH P.O.V
I trudged up the last of the steps, huffing and puffing. I was really pissed. I walked over to Farkas who was in his beast form for some reason. I tapped his tall shoulder and he turned around. He then went back to his human self.
"Karliah! Where have you been! I need your help, we need to find Ember and Keevan!" He said in a rushed tone. I blew a strand of hair out of my face. I stared darts at him, he became uncomfortable.
"If you think, for a second, that I'm..." I tensed up and sighed. He stared at me like I was insane.
"I just had to walk all the way back up this f****** mountain, and I'll be Damned if I have to do it two more times." I said getting more angry. Farkas just stared. I stared and narrowed my eyes at him. I groaned and pushed by him. I walked up to The Doctor. He didn't look at me when he said Hi. I didn't reply though.
"Have you found Ember or Keevan yet?" I asked trying to calm down.
"No."
"Did you check up there?" I asked pointing to the higher part of the mountain. I could see something red. I squinted my eyes to try to improve my sight but it didn't help.
"What is that?" I asked. The Doctor noticed it too.
"Oh no..." He said under his breath as he ran through the deep snow the the red patch. I looked at him sceptically. He started digging. Farkas and Danny walked over to him.
"No!" I heard someone scream. Then I ran over to the commotion. The Doctor was holding a bloody Ember in his arms. My eyes widened and I gasped.

KATNISS P.O.V
I caught my breath and calmed myself down.
"Now what?" I asked still catching my breath in between words. He looked at me.
"Well, we aren't going back in there." He said in a jokingly way. I let a small smile show but quickly disappear.
"I'd say we go to a different city nearby. But for now lets just camp out." He said as he got comfy in the branches. I sighed and looked at the sky. I started to feel tired... I was so tired. Then I found myself slipping into a deep sleep, a sleep I really needed.

DYNAMI P.O.V
What the hell is wrong with these people in this f****** world?! I ran and ran until I couldn't run anymore. I literally collapsed from exhaustion. I just layed there for about 20 minutes. Then I remembered Drakus, he would be watching. I used the rest of my strength to get up and continue running away from him. But I couldn't escape. He would always be watching, allways.
