"Let's gather for a picture," my boss takes out his camera and he places it above his head.
"Hold up," Evelyn shoves pieces of meat in her mouth.

We are at our team dinner; our boss says that this is his gift for our hard work. Also, today's Valentine's day; hence why everyone is excited. I stand next to Evelyn, then Ian moves to stand next to me.

"One, two, three". Click! Our boss takes a shot.

As we spread apart, Evelyn takes me to the hallway of the restaurant.

"Come here," she drags me.
"What?"
She whispers, "help me out, give this to Ian," she hands me a box of chocolates.
"Why don't hand this to him yourself?"
She taps her foot, "Just help me out! I'm a little hesitant, but I think if it's from you, he will gladly accept it."
"Evelyn, but this is not right.."
"Come on, please?" She begs.
"Okay okay, but I will say this is from you."
"Hey!" She hits my arm, "what's the point when I don't even want him to know that it's from me."
"But then it's not like I want to give Ian this," I show the chocolate box.
"Just help me out this once? Please?"
I sigh, "Fine, but..."
"But?" she comes closer.
"Tell him that you like him."
"WHAT?"
"I mean, when are you going to stop hiding your feelings?" I ask her.
"But, he likes you though," she looks down.
"When you like someone, you need to make sure that your effort of liking them won't go wasted."
"Then, you need to ask yourself too; What about you and Aaron? Don't you like him? Now you two are nothing, it's wasted."
"That's because it didn't work out," I say.
"Same as me, you think I have hope when Ian only likes you?"
"Come on, if I don't return my feelings for Ian, and you are there for him, he might like you."
"I'm not Krystal," she says.
"There's a difference between doing everything to get your man and doing everything because you care for him."
Evelyn thinks for a moment, "Then, I have to wait until Ian won't like anyone, then...that's when I have the right to show him my feelings."
"So promise or not?" I ask her.
She nods, "fine, just hand him it, I will tell him when it's the right time," she smiles.
"Really?"
"Yeah, go," she pushes me.

Our colleagues leave one by one, Ian is standing outside the door.

"Hey, what were you doing? Let's go," he says.

We dawdle around, waiting at the bus stop; I don't know when I should give him the box.

"Ian?"
He looks over promptly, "yeah?"
"Do you have any room in your backpack?"
"My backpack? Of course," he says.
"Here," I hand him the box quickly.
He smiles, "for me?" He takes it.
"Yeah, hope you like it."
"I didn't expect that you would give me this, I'm touched."
I titter a little, "yeah."
"I also...have something to give you."
I nod, "you do?"

He opens his backpack and hands me a mysterious box.

"Although it doesn't cost much, it's all I have for you."
I open it, it's a delicate necklace with the shape of a moon, "no-no, I like it very much, thank you."
He takes the necklace, "turn around."
I do as he says. He puts it around my neck, "I hope that you can find your full moon soon," he says.
I turn back to him touching the necklace, "Ian..."
"Happy Valentine's Day, I like you," he smiles as he says it, his eyes sparkled.
"I... I think I can't accept your feelings. I want to focus on myself first, I'm sorry."
"It's okay, come to me when you need me. I will wait for you," he pats me on my head.

We get on the bus, I try to reject Ian in a good way as possible, but he was cool about it. I hope that he will notice Evelyn soon, someone who waits for him. They will get along.

As I enter the house, it's loud. Aaron is having a party with his friends, including Krystal. For the past two weeks, they were always together. Sometimes he would go to her house and come late, same as her, she usually stayed for dinner and hung out with him after.
