"Yo," Aaron comes behind wrapping myself around his arms.
"Let go, they might see," I look downstairs.
"Should we tell them today?" He asks.
"Let's tell them when it's time, I think right now it's too sudden."
He nods, "should we go down for breakfast? Aww, you will go to work, I will be lonely here."
"Why don't you work too? We can go to work and see each other after our shift."
He plays with my hand, "as you know, my mom has plans for me."
I nod in agreement, "oh yeah, the company. Woah, I can't wait to see you in suits."
"By then, you should consider working for me," he laughs.
I shake my head, "sorry, I'm booked."
"Gosh," he lets go of my hand as we go downstairs.

"Oh, what's the mood here?" My mom looks at us.
I scratch my head awkwardly, "what kind of mood?"
"You both look bright today," Aunt Ava takes a closer look at us. "Even going down at the same time."
"Nah, I'm scared Luna might eat all my portions," Aaron sits down.
"When did I eat a lot?" I counter back.
He looks at me, "keep eating, it's not a crime."
"So are you two back to normal?" My mom asks.
We both look up at the same time, "no." I look at Aaron's face, he's about to laugh, "what do you mean no?" He asks.
"Same as you, you also said no," I snapped.
"Wow, Luna. Saying no when we did all the things last night," he teases.
"What last night?" I cough.
"Last night?" Aunt Ava seems interested.
"Hmm? Last night, what made the mood this great?" My mom adds on.
"Nothing," we both say.
"Hey," Aaron puts his chopsticks down.
"You also said it too," I whine.
"Luna, let's not lie to ourselves," he stares at me.
I clear my throat, "I have to go now, see you all," I hurry out.
"I'm heading upstairs," Aaron gets up.

I feel like we are both bad at acting, but we act well when it's about separating. If something's true, it's hard to make it seem fake. If something's fake, it's hard to make it seem true. That's just how things work.

"Is it what I'm thinking?" Ava whispers.
I nod, "yup, they met privately yesterday."
"Backyard correct?"
I look at her, "how do you know?"
"It's my house, you think I let everything slide?"
"Kids these days are so obvious," I smile.
Ava laughs, "they are not kids anymore since...," she points her two-finger together, "they are dating."
"I wonder what makes them keep it a secret for now."
"To avoid problems, let them be, we can just watch them from afar," Ava claps her hands together.
"It's great to see my daughter and your son together, I knew something was up the moment Aaron had that look in his eyes."
"I know right, my son always makes it obvious, speaking about it, Luna is good at hiding it," Ava gives a thumbs up.
I nod, "if you are good at hiding something, you can use that time to observe if the thing you are hiding is worth going for. Luna must have realized Aaron's importance."
Ava looks proud, "that's why they make a good couple."

"How was yesterday?" Evelyn asks me.
"We cooked good food, but it was just dinner."
"That's it?" Evelyn has that wanting to hear more face.
"Aaron confessed yesterday," I hide my face with my hands.
"WHAT?"
"What sounds surprising?" Ian comes near us.
Evelyn trying to keep a straight face, "nothing, you go to your cashier," she points at it.
He nods, "I will."  "Luna, do you like that necklace, was it a bother perhaps?" He asks.

Evelyn looks at the necklace and looks back at Ian. She must feel sad about this.

"No, not at all," I reply.
"Woahh, Ian gave a necklace to a girl, and that's Luna," she teases.

I see it through Evelyn's face, she's trying to hide her sadness. She acts that it's a normal thing by responding to it, making it like she's congratulating us. As if she has no feelings for him. Somehow, I also feel bad. I hate this situation.
