Devin was writing every suggestions on our wedding journal while my head was lying on his back since he's lying on his stomach. "How about green and white? Since that's your favorite color tsaka white para ma-balance," I suggested.
"Green? Hmm... Sure but it should be emerald green".
"Yes! Tapos susuotin ko yung pendant. Oh 'di ba?! Perfect Match!" I said as I fist my hands of success.
Sinulat niya yung theme color namin tapos ang sunod na pinag-desisyunan namin ay ang venue. "Garden or Beach?" I asked.
"Garden, that's where we met and got engaged so..." sabi niya habang isinusulat iyon. Halos dalawang oras kaming nag-plano para sa kasal namin. It will be a garden wedding, I also told him that there should be a fountain because it completed our memorable moments. Simple lang rin ang gusto namin, yung hindi na kailangang magsuot ng mga magagarbo at magagarang damit.
Pili lang rin ang mga iimbitahan namin dahil mas gusto niyang kami-kami lang ng mga kaibigan at ilang kamag-anak namin. He insisted that he would buy the ring himself so that I would be surprised the same day he'll put it on me.
For our honeymoon, he already booked a flight to Los Angeles since it's my dream destination ever since I was a child. Those plans made me love Devin more than yesterday but lesser than tomorrow.
I've been waiting for this. SIya, siya yung pinangarap ko. Hindi man maayos ang unang pagkikita namin but it was worth the resist sa lahat ng pang-iinsulto at pang-iinis niya saakin. "Are you okay?" he asked while we're eating dinner. I smiled at him before nodding. I didn't realized that a tear fell from my eye just when his facial expression changed into shock, "You're crying".
Suminghap ako bago pinunasan ang pisngi gamit ang kamay ko bago umiling, "This is nothing, I'm just happy".
"Ano 'yan? Tears of joy?"
"Exactly," I said as I chew the food. Sumimangot na lamang siya na parang 'di naniniwala sa'kin kaya nginitian ko na lamang siya para maging kampante ang pakiramdam niya. After eating, I was the one to wash the dishes while he was cleaning our mess earlier when we watched a movie.
When we're both finish on our duties, we lied on the couch while my head was on his shoulder and his arms were spread on the backrest. "Napagod ako, I need comfort babe," he said while making a cute face for me to feel pity.
Mahina kong tinapik ang pisngi niya, "No, you have to wait for the honeymoon". Ngumuso siya at ipinatong na lamang ang noo sa balikat ko bago pumikit. "Next week pa 'yun babe," mahina niyang sabi.
"Worth the wait naman 'di ba?" I asked as I lift his head with my both palm on his face. He nodded and kissed me on my right cheek.
We let a few moments pass before we did our own night routines. I was doing my skin care when someone called me, "Hello?"
