Chapter 13.

“Harry you need to leave” I finally bring myself to say.

“No, I know you love me too. I’m not leaving until you admit it.”

I stand to my feet, crossing my arms across my chest, he needs to leave. Now.

“I’m happy with Niall, that’s not going to change. So you need to leave Harry, I’m not asking again.” He looks at me with hurt eyes as he finally listens to me and starts walking to the door.

“I’ll wait for you, as long as it takes Katy. I’m not going to give up on us.” I turn away from him as the words hit me hard. I hear him leave and I grab my phone off the coffee table to call Niall.

I am happy with Niall, if I wasn’t I wouldn’t be with him. Am I trying to convince myself I am happy with him? No, I can’t be because I am happy with him.

I shake my head before calling Niall.

“Hey, I’m glad you called. Can I come by, we need to talk.”

“Hey, yeah Panda would love to see you.” I walk down the hall to find her.

“I’ll be over soon, I’m bringing dinner so don’t cook” Niall says before hanging up.

I wonder what he needs to talk to me about it, whenever someone says that they need to talk its never good. Oh god.

Panda, Charly and Chord are watching frozen when I reach the lounge “Niall is bringing dinner over” I say taking a seat on the floor with Panda and she moves to sit between my legs.

“How’d things go with Harry?” Chord asks as Panda jumps up and starts dancing around singing to ‘let it go’. I lay my head back on Chord’s thigh before answering.

“He told me he loves me and I told him I’m happy with Niall. That’s it.”

“He didn’t look happy when he left” He says as there’s a knock at the door.

“I get it! I get it!” Panda yells as she runs to the door.

“Hello beautiful!” Niall says bending down, placing the food on the floor before picking up panda, making her giggle.

“Hey guys” Niall says, grabbing the food and going into the kitchen with Panda still in his arms. Chord rolls my head from side to side with his hand causing me to smile before I push myself off the floor and jump onto Chord’s back to piggy back me. Ha I’m so lazy.

We sit at the dinner table laughing and talking for nearly 2 hours before I put Panda to bed. “Hey, can we talk now?” I turn away from Panda to Niall leaning in the doorway.

I nod before turning the light off and shutting Panda’s door, Niall follows me into my room, closing the door behind him.

I take a seat on the end of the bed and Niall stays by the door “I’m sorry I’ve been acting so weird lately. I was shocked over what happened, and I didn’t know how to deal with it. I’m sorry.” He walks to stand in front of me, he begins to get down on one knee and I hope to god he isn’t doing what I think he’s doing.

He laughs as he must noticed my terrified expression covering my face. He grabs my hands in his, rubbing his thumbs over my knuckles in a calming gesture.

“It’s not what you think I swear.” He pulls out a little box, I swear it’s a ring box. If it’s not what I think then why does he have a ring box!

I pull my hands away from his as he opens the box to reveal a small ring, I can’t hide the shocked expression covering my face.

“This isn’t the proposal you think, this is a promise ring. A promise to love you, to look after you and Panda. I love you Katy, I want you to know that.” Niall slides the ring down my finger as a tear escapes from my eye, a happy tear.
