Min Yoongi
Yoongi looked at the retreating figure of Jin. He had seen off Rin on the day of her departure. They never wanted this to happen. It seemed as if fate mercilessly tore them apart. Rin moving on, would only be a temporary escape. She could never hide her true feelings. It was all an act.
Yoongi felt an ache. Rin was a soft person behind that hard shell. She was an energy pill to him. Someone who inspired him to not be lazy. She considered everyone, even when she acted aloof. She had always sent her specials with Taehyung, for them. Whenever he felt down, she was among the first that stuck to him and made him happy. Even though they were just months apart, he always felt an elder brother to her.
Jin hyung on the other hand, was a timid person, when they met at the age of seven. He was shy, but always took the six of them under his wings. He did his best to make them happy, with his dad jokes and handsome face. He was easy to be with. The real extroverts in them were brought out by Rin.
Jung Hoseok
Hoseok felt as if his ray of sunshine and serotonin just left. He might be the mood maker, but Rin was his sunshine and hope, Jin, his serotonin. Around both of them he felt happy. Rin was always like a younger baby to him. She might have been the queen to the whole school, but never to them. He wanted to carry her under his wings. She was his little chicken.
Jin hyung was his boost, his inspiration. He often wondered, how the shy little hyung blossomed into their bad boy gang leader. It was definitely amusing. He had often seen the two pass sticky notes, when they were in primary school. Well, Rin mostly. She always sent the most amazing, short, encouraging words in her notes to everyone. Moreover, she brought Ha Ra into his life.
Kim Namjoon
He felt helpless and hopeless all of a sudden. He regretted having his nerdy brain. Why didn't it work to come up with a plan, all these years, to unite them? Rin's empty smile before her departure, and her cold hands, it had shook him, them! Those hands were always warm like her face. But it was unusually cold. She was someone who helped him, to make up all the classes they dunked. She was his moonlight.
It made him even more sad, to see his hyung devastated. He knew his hyung's love for her. He had seen Jin's eyes around her, for all those years. He knew the pain Jin went through after their breakup. His regret and hesitation. After all, the couple made them stand in a difficult position.
Park Jimin
Perhaps, he would be the one who loved them the most. It was his only favourite hyung, and his fairy angel. If Jin supported him as a father, then Rin will be on the other side like a mother. She had always joked that he and Jungkook were her little babies. She always had an extra treat for them. She was the first to wipe his tears. She was his encouragement, his resting stone. She would be waiting at the end for him, no matter what trial it was. Yes, he loved Sung Hyo, but Rin was special.
His hyung was his comfort zone. He laughed the loudest, at his dad jokes. Jin could make his loved ones happy, even if he was down. That was his speciality. He had always envied the Jin-Rin pair. They were so not lovey dovey at times, and could make you envious with just the look. They were home for each other. Now... It hurt him to think about it.
Kim Taehyung
Taehyung couldn't explain his agony. Nothing felt fair. His cousin leaves, his hyung is broken down, he got no happy ending, nothing. Life mocked at him. He had struggled enough between his two. Now he was torn apart. No! he had nothing to think or say anymore. It was all done.
Jeon Jungkook
Will someone say Seul Rin is not his favourite? He will chop their head. She was his world. The first female, other than his mom, he was comfortable to talk with. The first girl, who bought him, his favourite drink (banana milk). She always called him Kookie, in a charming voice. She was like a mother, petting and scolding him. Yes, they did grow apart, in the starting of middle school. But that was what the school saw. She always had a packed treat made from her hands for all of them, especially himself and Jimin.
His hyung was no different. One could practically say, he bought him up. He was sometimes an elder brother, or sometimes a father. If his girlfriend and Rin were the girl versions of Tom and Jerry, than one could say he and his hyung were the original. It ripped to see two of his favourites broke. One moved on, and one broke down.
Chan Yeon Joo
Rin had met her first. Her kindergarten best friend. Someday, she turned out to be her family. Someone who, she could vent her feelings of being scolded by her Eomma. Someone, she could desperately cling on to. Someone, who wipes her tears, and brings a smile. Sixteen years of friendship. It didn't end. But it was still not right, to not have her around. She got too used to it. They were always the Tom and Jerry pair. She had always doubted, the way Rin's eyes looked Jin oppa. Her eyes glinted every time. It told a million stories. It was as if the whole galaxy where in it. A small misunderstanding, tore her away from what she wanted. Yeon Joo felt helpless, as she remembered not being able to comfort her friend, just as she did for her.
Han Ae Chan
Life isn't exactly fair. Ae Chan always thought that for the past few years. Now her best friend's life proved it. She had once seen them as the best, envied couple. The eyes told million stories, and the gestures acted out them. They were a synchronised pair, in rhythm, never skipping the beat. The term 'go with the flow' suited their bygone story well! It was a gentle wave, all when the earth decided to wreck havoc. If it hadn't been for Minsuh, if it hadn't been for that hateful day... Ae Chan's fists folded.
Jin Sung Hyo
She could think nothing. Everything was blank. Her canvas, colourful, now lay ripped apart. Yes, her oppa and her best friend, were a beautiful picture, she had started painting once. It was a picture, she wanted to look with her man, her Jimin. Even mother nature blessed them. The strokes stopped, three years back. She was hesitating to touch the brush again. But she hoped, she would one day. But now, there lay on the floor, blood dripping black, and canvas torn away in pain. She feared her hand would never rise, to paint them again. Sun Hyo's eyes filled with warm tears.
Park Ha Ra
They had practically known from birth. She was the eldest by few months, but what, Rin acted she was the eldest. There bond was inexplainable. They shared the same DNA, the same braincells. If it wasn't for her cousin, she would never have met her Sunshine. She was inseparable from Rin. It only took her a year, to return back to Korea, back then. Knowing how much feelings her cousin held for the man, Ha Ra, like Taehyung, knew the pain in Rin's heart. She knew the reason behind Rin's departure. Her hands hugged Hoseok even more, sharing the pain in her cousin's heart. She had wet Hoseok's shirt too many times, the past few days.
