The boys reached at the court on time. As they entered, the scene that unfolded was quite astounding.
The girls were sitting at the gallery, watching those juniors kneel down and chant sorry.
This surprised the boys immensely. They neared the group.
"We are sorry hyung! I am the one who gave complaint about you to Mr. Park. We are sorry for behaving, as the badass boys we were, to Park Chan Yo! We won't ever repeat this again. Moreover, I shall tell Mr. Park myself that, my complaint was fake." Jeong Hoon approached the boys and apologised, kneeling in front of them.
Jin and the boys were standing stunned, as Seul Rin came down from the gallery, wearing the look of a queen boss.
"Seems like you boys have learnt your lesson! Jeong Hoon you may go do what you are supposed to do. And remember, I might not be patient with you the next time." Her voice held a fearful warning, even though she was smiling.
Jeong Hoon and his gang nodded and greeted them respectfully, as they left.
The seven astonished glances, now turned to face Seul Rin, who was joined by Ae Chan, Sung Hyo and Yeon Joo.
"I needed to prove you my innocence. You never believed me. And I am sorry, for misunderstanding all of you. Chan Yo and those boys told me what happened. They deserved it. I will talk to Mr. Park." Rin's voice was tight. She was looking at Jin directly.
After a moment, of intense staring, she signaled them to leave.
The girls were about to leave, when Jin grabbed Rin's hand.
"Wait! What happened! What did you do to them?" Jin was curious.
Rin stopped, signalling others to continue.
"Nothing!" She pulled his hand away.
"Rin! I am sorry! I was an ass! Forgive me!" Jin pleaded.
"Hmm! I have to go!" Rin turned, leaving the boys to themselves.
Jin looked at her parting figure with increasing compunction.
"I don't understand what happened! Those boys were never like this, when we chastised them!" Jimin's voice broke the silence.
Everyone nodded in agreement, except Jin, who was still feeling a void.
"She is good at Kung Fu and Taekwondo!" Taehyung commented, as he remembered his cousin's power.
"WHAT!!!"
All six faces turned to face Taehyung.
"Don't tell us she used martial arts over them!" Hoseok told.
"Well... She knows how to hurt, without causing any symptom of fight externally." Taehyung grinned sheepishly.
"They were injured?! Wow! She is really something! No wonder, kids call her the queen." Namjoon mentioned.
"Hyung! What are you thinking about?" Jungkook looked at Jin.
Jin was having a faraway expression on his face.
"Uhm It's nothing! Let's go to meet Mr. Park." Jin replied, smiling to himself.
The sudden gesture made the six boys wonder.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I am letting you off hook, because, Jeong Hoon confessed, and Rin explained about what happened." Mr. Park smiled at Jin.
"Jin, thank you for helping my daughter. I would have lost her, if not." Gratitude and love filled Mr. Park's voice.
"It's nothing, Sir! I just did my duty!" Jin's earlobes had turned red.
"Well... Thanks to Rin. If she hadn't questioned me about why you were being dismissed, I would have forwarded with it. I called and have assured your dad it was nothing, just a misunderstanding. Now go and show them your true potential. I believe in you." The principal encouraged him, patting his shoulder like a father.
Jin saw a ray of comfort in Mr. Park's eyes.
"Thank You!" He replied in all sincerity.
"I guess you have to make it up to her for false accusations." Mr. Park ended with a wink.
Smiling and nodding at him, Jin left the office in good spirits, to go find Rin.
