maybe its worth another try

today was the last day of school until the winter holidays and it was also the day that nini and ricky would perform their song.

"i'm kind of nervous." nini mutters as she eats a piece of her toast

"you and ricky worked really hard and i'm sure you guys are going to be great." aria assures her sister

nini nods, though it didn't remove the nervous pit in her stomach.

"jacob! hurry up!" aria yells at the stairs

"i'm coming!" jacob shouts back as he runs down the stairs

nini laughs and they open the front door, saying bye to carol on their way out.

they drive to school and once they park, nini sees that james posted a video.

"what the hell?"

"what?" aria and jacob ask as they get out of the car.

their eyes widen as they tell nini to press on it and so she does.

as you probably know from the title of this video, me and nini did break up.

i'm here explaining it all to you because i don't want any rumors to go around or any hate to go towards her or anything.

it was a mutual breakup and we do still get along, but we are taking space away from each other and i do wish her the entire best for her future.

the three had their jaws dropped.

"mutual breakup?!" jacob exclaims angrily

"still get along?!" aria shoots

"what the hell?!" nini groans in frustration

"i sweat to god i'll-"

"no. don't do anything j." nini pleads

aria and jacob look at nini in confusion

"it's just- i really don't want anything else to happen and it's just going to cause more drama. so just don't do anything please?"

jacob sighs and nods his head and aria looks behind her

"you might want to tell ricky the same thing."

the brunette turns around to see ricky walking towards her with anger

"did you see it?!" he asks her

"yeah but ricky-"

"where the hell is he?!" ricky demands as he searches the quad with his eyes
