I hope you guys are happy I actually researched stuff for this part lol

I wake up dreading the first day of school this week. Also the next day I see Preston. The thought crowded my thoughts seeing him and knowing he has a crush on me, but him not knowing that I know. That's probably confusing but I don't care.

None of my thoughts make sense anymore at this point. Before I know it English class comes around and I sit in my seat next to Preston. The pit feeling in my stomach grows rapidly, my vision going blurry

"Good afternoon!" He greets cheerfully. I ignore it the deep feeling only growing bigger. "you okay?" He asks tapping my shoulder. At this point I feel something is going to break in my chest. My head starts to spin or is it the room... Or is it the same for everyone?

"You okay Ms. Schmidt?" I hear Mrs. McBrown ask. I shake my head, maybe I didn't I don't know. "Will you rake her to the office Preston?" I hear her ask. I don't hear or see what he responds, I just feel my body growing weaker, my knees wobbling slightly. I try to tell her I can go down on my own but they come out in slowed down slurs. He takes my hand and helps me out the door so I don't trip over a desk. I hear people snicker which makes me want to just go home more.

"Can you walk?" He asks me in the hallway. I try to tell him yes but my knees buckle completely and I fall but not on the ground luckily.

Preston's POV
"Can you walk?" I ask, he eyes roll back and she falls into my arms. I pick her up bridal style and hurry her to the office.

"What p's wrong with her?" I ask the nurse quickly.
"Mr. Arnesment. I haven't even checked her temperature, you expect me to know what wrong? A diagnosis takes time." She waves me off. "You can return to class thank you."
"But I can't. I took her down here don't I have a right to stay?"

"Are you two girlfriend and boyfriend? If you aren't you must go back to class."
"Um... Yes! We are boyfriend and girlfriend." I try my best to not sound like I'm lying and she must have accepted it because she lets me stay which makes me relived.

"She's dehydrated." She explains after what seems like ever.
"She didn't drink enough water? That's what caused her to faint?"
"Hot-shot. Water takes up more than half of your body. When that percentage gets lower and lower than it gets pretty bad. She must get home and wake up soon. Get her some water right when she wakes up."

"What me? Can't she wait here?"
"Number one: she is your girlfriend and number two: my shift is almost over." She walks out the room.
