I hummed while typing some records on my desk top. I am currently listening to one of my favorite solo korean artist's new song.

Nagpatuloy ako sa pagkanta.

I saw some of my Dad's employees looking at me ridiculously because of my music choice. Nang makita nilang masama ang tingin ko ay agad silang nag-iwas at nagkunwaring may kung anong pinag-uusapan.

Pathetic. I rolled my eyes the higher I could before I resumed on my work. Nasa kalahati palang ako nang tinitipang dokumento nang may biglang kumatok sa pinto nang mini office ko.

"Ma'am, pinapatawag po kayo nang Mommy niyo sa opisina niya." ngumiti ako sa sekretarya ni Mom.

After sorting out the paper works my Dad left me, pinatay ko ang desk top ko at tumayo mula sa kinauupuan.

I sighed while fixing my usual shoulder length hair, ano ba ang sasabihin ni Mommy at ipinatawag niya ako? Ipipilit pa rin ba nila sa akin ang ideyang pag manage nang kompanya namin? Ayoko. I never wanted to be like that. I'm fine with my position and nothing can change my mind.

Taas noo akong naglakad papunta sa opisina ni Mommy, ngumingiti sa mga bumabating empleyado at umiirap sa mga malisyosa. I don't have to force myself for someone who doesn't want to be with me. Kung ayaw nila sa akin, walang problema. I am not a post waiting for their thumbs up.

Kinalma ko ang sarili bago kumatok sa glassdoor nang office, I saw my Mom and Dad, engrossed with their topic inside. Nang makita ako ni Mary, the secretary dali-dali siyang lumapit sa tapat ko at pinagbuksan ako nang pinto.

"Thank you Mary." I thanked her softly. Namilog ang mga mata niya at ngumiti.

"P-pasok po kayo Ma'am." nauutal na anyaya niya.

"Why are you stuttering? Are you intimidated by my presence again?" I chuckled.

Napakurap siya at mabilis na umiling. Nakita ko sa gilid nang mga mata ko ang pagtayo nang mga magulang ko.

I glanced at Mary before walking my way towards my Mom's table. I kissed them both and take a seat beside my father.

"You want some coffee-" I cutted her off.

"Mary told me that you want me to be here urgently, Is something wrong?" I asked directly, napatikom nang bibig si Mom, tila natigilan sa pagputol ko sa mga dapat niyang sabihin.

"Uhm, your Dad and I are planning to give you the position as early as possible, I know that you don't want this but we don't have any choice left Erudite. Hindi naman puwedeng ang pinsan mo ang magmamana nang kompanya dahil busy iyon sa propesyon niya, your Tita And Tito told us that Aesha don't want the position themselves, We understand-" Pagak akong tumawa.

"Naintindihan niyo si Aesha pero ako hindi? Pareho naming ayaw ang posisyon Mom! My talents are so far from handling a company. Being an owner was too far from my reach. I wanted to help here but not to the point that you'll make me become a CEO, because I know, I don't deserve that kind of position. Kulang ako sa experience, marami pang may deserving sa position Mom, why don't you give them a try?" Mom and Dad sighed.

Tiredness was already evident on their faces. If they are then I am too. Kaya sana naman, tapusin na nila ang isyung 'to, pareho na kaming napapagod.

"We can't trust them with this Eru, bakit sila pa kung andiyan ka naman? Everyone here is willing to help you!" Pagpupumilit pa ni Mommy sa akin.

Tumayo ako. "Ayoko." Their mouth hanged in shock.

"Everyone's getting tired Mom, Dad. Stop this shit already." Malamig kong saad bago tumalikod sa kanila.
