BELLATRIX POV:
I was sitting down on the table, one leg crossed over the other when the door was pushed open and Clarke stormed in with Rigel following closely behind, looking between all of us. Clarke's eyes were wide and glassy, and Rigel looked worried. "Where's Madi?" Bellamy asked.
"With your sister." Clarke spat, so full of hate and disdain for Octavia.
"Yeah, she's not mad at all." Rigel sarcastically commented, folding his arms.
"Clarke, we don't have time for this. We have to leave now, as soon as Diyoza realises what Echo did, she's dead. We have no choice." Bellamy called out, pleadingly looking to Clarke, searching for permission. I furrowed my eyebrows as I looked between them, this wasn't something Bellamy needed Clarke for.
"You're wrong. We have one." She stepped forward, grabbing the radio. I frowned, watching her closely as Monty grabbed her arm, stopping her.
"Wait, what are you doing?" Harper asked.
"Stopping the cycle." Clarke whispered, looking to Monty who let her hand so and she pulled the radio out of the plug and turned around, bringing the radio to her face. "This is Clarke Griffin; I have a question for Colonel Diyoza."
"Hello Clarke, it's been too long. What the hell do you want?" Diyoza's taunting voice echoed throughout the room.
"What would it take for you to share the valley?" Clarke asked and my face fell.
"Share is? Well, let me see. Short of an unconditional surrender, nothing."
"Octavia will never surrender." Monty pointed out.
"She'd sooner die." Rigel pointed out.
"That's why we're gonna take her out." Clarke said in a low voice.
"That doesn't sound like stopping the cycle to me." I muttered, looking at the blonde, she casted me a fleeting glance, stern and faltering for a brief moment. But I doubted anyone could change her mind. Clarke was pacing, talking with Diyoza, going over the terms for peace and through all that time I couldn't help but look at Clarke like I didn't even know her anymore. As if through those six years she'd completely changed. It was no longer her people; it was her person. This wasn't breaking the cycle; this wasn't saving everyone else. This was her thinking about Madi.
"I don't care how you make it happen, Clarke. Kill Octavia if you have to, bring her to me in chains, and I'll do it for you, or she can surrender herself. But your red queen doesn't seem like the type." Diyoza slowly drawled out, the amusement radiating off of her through the radio.
"Let us worry about that." Clarke's eyes drifted over to Bellamy.
"We have an understanding then." Diyoza said.
"We do." Clarke nodded.
"Good. Call me back when it's done, and we can work out the details of your crossing over and out." Diyoza hung up.
"No way," Bellamy shook his head, his eyebrows pinched together.
"Bellamy—"Clarke tried.
"We are not killing my sister, Clarke." He turned to her, eyes wide and angry. "I don't care how crazy she is." Bellamy then turned to Monty, Harper and me. "Run the loop. The Rover's charged. We're getting our friends." He ordered before lifting the bag and he began packing. I slipped off of the table and began helping pack up.
"I can't believe you did that Clarke." I shook my head, shoving into her shoulder as I walked past her.
"That was reckless. We have a plan. You agreed." Bellamy scolded her.
