At some point, unknown to Elliot, he'd drifted off, smiling widely. He woke to a start as a car horn blared outside the front of his house.
"Honey! Your ride is here!" Eve called, watching her son come running down the steps. She kissed his cheek. "Be careful okay? If you need anything at all just call me. I'll be there in a heart beat."
Elliot nodded. "I know. Thanks mom. I'll see you later. Don't wait up!" And with that, he shot out of the front door, running over to the S.U.V and getting inside, glancing over at the boy in the driver seat.
"Hello."
"Hey."
They sat in an awkward silence before Nathan pulled out and started down the road, licking his lips and huffing.
Well I didn't think this part through. Elliot thought to himself. Say something! Say something! Anything!
"So... You go to a lot of parties?" Nathan asked, breaking the silence.
Elliot let out a sigh of relief. "No... This is my first."
"Really?"
"Yeah...."
Nathan smiled widely. "I'll be sure to make it good!"
"I should hope so... I'm not going to be there as the piñata am I?" He asked.
"Piñata? What do you- oh." The dark haired boy shook his head. "No! No! Of course not! You're coming as a guest. My guest."
"Why?"
"Why what?"
"Why take me?"
"Oh." Nathan shrugged. "Why not take you? I mean I totaled your car and well, you're pretty damn cute."
Elliot stared at him, mouth slightly open. "What?"
"Hmm?" Nathan looked up. "You're cute. I'm not going to tell an attractive guy he's not attractive."
"But-"
"No buts. You're cute." Nathan laughed.
"I'm gay."
The car got silent. It was chilling but Nathan just laughed, shaking his head. "I know that you're gay...."
"So then why are you saying I'm cute?"
The shorter teen looked up. "Because I might be a little gay myself."
Elliot was shocked. Was he hearing this right? "Oh. I see."
"You sound surprised."
"I am." Before he could say more, the car was stopped and put Into park.
"We are here!" Nathan smirked as he slid out, Elliot following in suit. They walked up together and Nathan pushed through the door, greeted by tons of their classmates.
Elliot's head was swarming with questions but he couldn't seem to focus on anything as he and Nathan were bused by the other, saying hello and handing them beers.
Nathan turned to look at Elliot, smirking and clinking their beers. "Well come to the wild life my friend! Stick with me and I'm gonna take care of you. I promise."
"Promise?"
Nathan raised his right hand. "I promise."
The other nodded and smiled awkwardly, taking a sip of his beer as Nathan dragged him around.
-:-After a few hours of roaming about and chatting to some people, followed by a couple of beers, Elliot had a bit of a buzz. His words slurred and a dumb smile splayed on his lips. Correction. He wasn't buzzed, he was completely hammered. The boy found himself sitting in a circle across from Nathan. A bottle was spinning and when it landed on the girl next to him, one of the boy from the other side leaned over to kiss her. She spun the bottle and it pointed to Nathan who gladly sat up to meet her lips. When finally he spun it, Elliot watched the top of the bottle. He almost willed it to point at himself and the moment it did, a group of girls giggled. Elliot hardly had a moment to process before he had a lap full of the other teen who was looking at him expectantly. He blinked and looked down at him while Nathan cupped his cheeks and sat up, leaning in and pressing their lips together.
It was warm and soft. Elliot allowed his lips to fall open and eyes slip closed as Nathan became more forceful, moving with him. It wasn't even a second later when the warmth was gone and Felicity announced it was the end of the game.
Others groaned and stood up but Elliot stayed in place, completely dazed from kiss. When he looked up he could see Felicity leaning against the wall with her hands tangled in short black hair, proving a point that Nathan was hers.
He shook his head and snaked to his feet, walking out of the room and towards the door as his fingers traced his lips.
"Hey! Wait!" Nathan called running up behind him and grabbing his hand. "Where are you going?"
Elliot looked him over and shook his head. "Home."
"Dude why!? Aren't you having fun?"
The larger teen looked down at their hands. "Does it matter? Look that's not really my crowd in there, besides it late..."
"You're plastered dude. I'm not letting you walk home. Come on, let me drive you."
He thought about it and nodded, letting himself get pulled to the car. He slowly got inside and relaxed.
The car ride was short and when he was sitting in his drive way, Nathan looked over at him. "This was fun. Man you should come out with me more often."
"Yeah... Maybe.... Elliot."
"What?"
"That's my name. Elliot Stark."
"Oh. Good to know... Well, Elliot Stark... I had a very good time with you tonight and I hope to in the future."
The boy nodded and just as he was getting out, Nathan pulled him back In to a kiss.
At first he was stiff, but soon melted into it. His hands moving to Nathan's hips. This time he pushed in, both of their lips parting for a breathless and hot motion.
when Elliot pulled back and he pecked Nathan's lips and ran up to the door, pushing inside and leaning against it. After come out of the daze, he kept up the steps to his room. There he was met by his mother.
"How was it?" She asked softly, yawning.
"It was cool."
"Oh yeah? How much did you drink and what's that stupid smile for?"
He laughed a bit and took off his jacket before sitting with Eve. "A few beers and well.... Let's just say I think I might be falling for someone."
She smiled brighter. "What's his name?!"
"Nathan."
