All cuddled up in Elliot's bed, Nathan smiled at his boy friend. "You need to get some sleep..."

"Not me... You're the one that had a game tomorrow. You need to sleep so you can win and I can give you an award."

"An award? What kind of award?" He raised a brow and Elliot kissed his neck.

"I think you know baby.... When you win we are going on a trip to the lake this weekend. We will be all alone in a romantic cabin." Elliot smirked.

"I... Umm baby, the lake?" He asked softly. "Not so sure that's a good idea."

"And why not?"

Nathan took a deep breath and mumbled something incoherently and hid his face.

"What was that?" Elliot leaned closer.

"I can't mhmmmh..." He mumbled again.

Elliot sat up and grabbed Nathan, forcing their eyes to meet. "Tell me."

Nathan sat up and bit his lip. "You know how I'm on every sports team.. And like the captain of them all?"

"Yes my dear. I am more then aware of that fact that you run every sports team." He laughed. "Continue."

"Okay well what's the one team I'm not on?"

He sat in thought, furrowing his brows. "The swim team? That's it, that's all I can think of."

Nate looked down ashamed and nodded.

"I don't get it... What's so- oh... Oh wow you can't-"

"Don't say it!" He covered his face. "It's so embarrassing. I can't even think about it."

"Baby. Not being able to swim isn't a bad thing. I know people that can't swim. It isn't something to be embarrassed of." He assured and kissed him softly.

He pushed back and hung his head.

"Look. We don't have to swim. I can take you on a boat ride and make you dinner and do... Other things." He smirked and sat between his legs.

Nathan glanced up and smiled softly. "I love you, you big dork."

Elliot laughed and leaned their foreheads together. "I love you so much babe."

Nate wrapped his arms around him and kissed him deeply.

When he pulled back they both snuggled down and drifted off.

The next morning was breakfast, then the two of them heading off to school. They went their seprate ways and off to classes.

Nathan sat in his intro to business class, wanting to fall asleep. He'd never hated a class this much.

Behind him sat his so called 'friends' whom of which all sat back and talked about him.

"Acetarium!" David called with a smirk and Nathan forcibly smiled, despite what they'd done to Elliot.

He turned to face then and they all leaned closer. "Dude.. Did you let Stark suck you off?"

His brows raised. "Excuse me? Dude! I'm not gay! Me and Felicity are dating!"

David put his hands up. "Hey I'm just getting the facts straight. People are saying you fucked him and let him suck you off. I just wanted to know! But hey, that little faggot has quite the crush on you. It's gross."

"Don't fucking call him that." Nathan growled, slamming his hand in the desk. "Don't you ever fucking call him that. And you leave him the hell alone okay? Leave him alone."

"Woah!" David laughed and out his hands up. "You're defending him? What's that about!?"

"He's my friend!"

"He's gay!"

"So what!? So what if he's gay!? He's a nice guy! He's my friend!!" Nathan screamed, the entire class was looking now. "There are people in this world that like the same sex! So what!? What the fuck is so bad about that!? If he likes guys then he likes guys! It doesn't make him any less of a human!"

"Nathaniel. Have a seat." Mrs. Robinson commanded from the front.

"No! Fuck you!" He growled. "Fuck this entire class! This school! Society! Do you know how often Elliot Stark gets beaten up? Everyday. He's broken four ribs in the last three years! He's tried to kill himself on multiple occasions! No one seems to care about him! Why is it just me!?"

The class remained silent as they all looked to him.

"Office. Now!"

Nate glared and shoved his chair in, lifting his books as he flipped them off and walked out, heading to the principal.

Malcolm arrived at the school to pick up his son, looking him over.

They slipped into the car and stayed quiet.

"Nathaniel what happened?" His father asked.

Nate looked up and rolled his eyes, grumbling.

"Please talk to me. Don't do this to me again." The man pleaded, eyes concerned.

The teen ran a hand through his face, not sure how to word what he wanted to say. He remembered the first time he'd ever felt like this. It was the first few weeks after his mother had passed and as a young boy he had no clue how to say the things he wanted to say without being childish.

The words he'd finally spoken in those days came flooding out again.

"It's not fair...."

Malcolm took a deep breath, picturing the ten year old boy that once sat and said the same thing.

"I know it's not. Nothing is ever really fair. Someone always looses." He closed his eyes in thought. "It's all a matter of taking what's unfair and making the best of it you can."

"They beat him. They say such cruel things to him dad."

"I know."

"It's not fair!" Nathan cried. "Why don't they do those things to me!? Why am I any different!?"

Malcolm stayed silent and let his son take a moment, knowing exactly where this was going. He could feel himself tearing up. "Why would they have to?"

"Because I'm gay too." Nathan sniffled and bit the insides of his cheeks. "I'm.... I'm gay."

"I know. I've always known."

"You did? Are you... Okay with that?"

The man smiled softly and pulled his son to him. "Of course I am. You're my son. You're my biggest accomplishment. No amount of money or fame could ever top you. I'm so proud of you and I always will be."

A small sob left the boy's throat. "That's the best news I've heard all day dad..." He hugged him closer.

"I'm glad you're happy."

"I'm dating Elliot." He whispred.

"In aware and that makes me even happier. He is a good man and I Believe that you two seem to fit... Again. Im just glad you're happy."

"I am. In really happy dad."

"Your mother would be so proud of you." The boy's father encouraged. "She'd be so proud of you for what you did today and for that exact reason in not mad that you got suspended."

"One week."

"Yes. One week. You're lucky." He ruffled his hair. "Let's get you home."

"Alright dad." He smiled and shifted through his bags to find a book.

"Oh Nathan?"

"Yeah, dad?" He asked, letting his eyes glance up.

"I love you."

"I love you too."
