Ryan: Ow... ow... ooh, my back!
He groaned. Out of all things he suddenly has back pain instead of peaceful sleep.
Ryan: Agh, where... am I?
Ryan got up and leaned on the nearest rock. It was pitch black and he can only see 5 inches in front of him. Even his peripheral vision is blinded by the dark. But he took action and went into his bag. Pulling out a lighter, he lit it and his sight has been restored. Now not totally blind, he slung his bag and M16 over his shoulder and went forward. But Ryan felt like something was missing.
Ryan: Let's see, I have my bag, my gun, pistol... wait, my M60! Where did it go?
He stumbled around from where he woke up and tried to find his M60. But while he searched, minutes passed by very quickly and he was pretty wasting time. So instead of looking around wasting even more daylight, he gave up the search and continued on.
Ryan: You know what, I'll find you later. But survival comes first.
He took a deep breath and went into a dark corridor ahead of him. Guiding his left hand along the cold, wet wall to keep him from losing his sense of direction, he came upon more darkness and more corridors.
Ryan: I'm not gonna make it out of here, am I? No no, think about something else.
Ryan tried thinking of something positive like... kissing Coco. It was the only thought he had in mind, just in case of panic. Well, it's not exactly a preferable way to handle the situation but it's better than crying in a cave all day. But while he stood there thinking like a child, he suddenly heard humming. The hums bounced off the cave walls creating it more echoey. Feeling mesmerized and sleepy, he followed the beautiful humming. For all he knows, someone could be here and can get him out. Unless that person guts him like a fish.
Coming upon another corridor that turned to the right, a glowy light can be shown dancing across the wall with the humming sounding more close. Curious, he turned the corner and saw the source of the light and the humming.
At first he admired the fire and experienced it's warmth. But then he turned his head slightly to the left to see a girl sitting down, sewing some sort of large cloth. She looked like a 14 to 16 year old with a fox tail and fox ears. Not to be mistaken by the one and only, Senko-San, he found her cute and pretty. The fire made her even better. But taking a step forward, her ears picked up and she turned her head to stare at the ragged marine that stood by the entrance. Her eyes widened and she backed off all the way to the wall behind her.
