POV Auden

I flick on the pool lightswitch and step onto my balcony. Emerson and I slowly sink into the water.

"It sounded like chaos from upstairs." I laugh.

"Oh trust me, it was. Their competitive arguing is priceless." she giggles.

"I'm glad you're enjoying yourself."

"Oh TRUST ME, more than you'll ever know." she exclaims.

"CANNONBALL!" Zayn yells jumping into the deep end.

His splash soaks us completely and he does a hair flip as soon as he bobs up to the surface. What a classic boy move.

The rest of the boys come running out yelling and splashing each other like there's no tomorrow.

"So is this what it's like being rich? Having a pool and a jacuzzi on a balcony overlooking the city?" Louis asks.

"Louis!" Liam scolds slapping his arm.

"First of all, It's my moms money. And we're not rich... we're comfortable." I explain.

"But seriously, your flat is sick!" Niall shouts.

"Thanks." I say shyly.

"Auden, lets play a game." Harry suggests swimming closer to me.

He looks so cute. His hair is wet and his toned chest is peaking out of the water. His green eyes sparking in the dim light.

"Sure. What will I be beating you at tonight?" I tease.

"Ooohh! Harry, that's a challenge!" Zayn shouts.

"Have you played colors?" Harry asks, arching his eyebrow slightly.

"No."

"Alright. Well, while I cradle you like a baby, you try and guess the color I'm thinking of. If you get the color right, I flip you. If you guess wrong, you get continuously dunked." he explains with a mischievous smirk.

"Great. Promise me one thing. You can't have a stupid color like robins egg green or sky blue or some shit like that." I say.

"Deal."

I hop into his arms and his bright green orbs stare into mine.

"Orange?" I guess.

He dunks me unexpectedly quick causing me to inhale water. I come up coughing while Harry laughs at my reaction.

"Can I at least get a warning?" I squeak out.

"Well then that spoils the fun then, doesn't it."

"Fine." I roll my eyes.

I hold my nose and shut my eyes as I prepare myself for the next guess.

"Green?"

Once again he dunks me into the water. I try again.

"Yellow?"

Same thing happens. I go through the entire rainbow. The pinks, the turquoise family, and even magenta. All wrong.

"Whatever happened to you winning this game? We're going to be here out here all night?" he jokes.

"Well excuse me for naming every color in the book." I argue.

"Ah, but your missing one." he says in a sing song tone.

I huff and think again.

"White?" I ask desperately.

Into the water I go.

"Now that is a rubbish answer. That is the equivalent of saying robins egg green or whatever you said before. White should not count as a color." he rants.

I roll my eyes. Whatever color he's thinking of is totally not a color.

"Gold?" I try.

He back flips me underwater and I break free from his grip.

"Well it only took you an hour!" he exclaims.

"Gold is like white. It shouldn't count." I argue.

I love gold but c'mon who uses it in a color game? Stupid.

I swim over to him and I smile.

"You're a cheater." I say softly.

He grins and shakes his head.

"Auden, come here! Tell them your rafting story." Emerson yells from the other end of my pool.

I swim over to the boys and Emerson and start to tell my water rafting horror story from last summer. Definitely not one of my best moments.

Harry follows me over and snakes his arms around my hips, pulling me closer to his chest. Chills run up and down my arms as I feel his soft breathing on the back of my neck.

"Ok so last summer, Emerson and I went with a few friends from our school to this rafting place. It was honestly so much fun and we had to wear these puffy life jackets and silly helmet. Once we started the course, I realized my helmet was broken. There was a long crack running along the side, so I knew I couldn't be too reckless. Anyways, towards the end of the rafting course my friend Cody and I went flying to the right and I fell off the raft smacking the side of my head into a rock."

"Lemme guess, the side of your head with the crack in the helmet." Liam asks.

His face is twisted in the most uncomfortable expression. It's looks like he is bracing himself for the gory details.

"Oh, of course. So I smack my head into a rock, I go unconscious. I wake up in a hospital room and the doctors tell me I've got twelve stitches on the right side of my face. I remember looking in the mirror later that night and crying. I looked like a monster and all this dry blood covered this half of my face, yuck it was gross. So yeah, I'll never go rafting again." I finish my story.

Zayn shakes his head, "Yeah and because of that story that is why I will never go rafting."
