Chapter 24- What Makes You Beautiful

POV Auden

The sun peaks through the curtains and streams into my eyes waking me up. I roll over to wake up Harry but he's not there.

I sit up quickly in bed and glance around the room. I find a note taped to the clock.

I had a meeting early this morning and didn't want to wake you. We'll all be back this evening and you and I can get dinner just the two of us. By the way, Lou's coming to get you at 10:30. Thank you for last night, it was amazing. Xx

I lift up the note and read the clock: 10:14. Oh fuck. I jump up from the bed and sprint to the bathroom to shower. I take the quickest shower of my entire life and change into an oversized t shirt and athletic shorts. If I'm going to be shopping for uncomfortable dresses all day I might as well wear something comfy.

As I start to brush out my hair, there's a knock on the door. I invite Lou in and she sits on the couch as I finish brushing my hair.

"I am so excited! I get to finally do a girls hair and makeup AND be your stylist." she beams.

"Me too, I can't wait!" I tell her excitedly.

I slip on flip flops and she hands me a magazine. Harry, Louis, Niall, Liam, and Zayn are on the front posing together. Harry looks amazing.

"What's this?" I ask curiously.

"Page 12." Is all she says.

I flip to page 12 and there I am. I look extremely professional as I'm posing for the camera. Syd really wasn't kidding when she made me sign that contract.

"Oh my god." I mutter.

"I know." Lou adds.

I read the paragraph to the side of the page.

Auden James may be known for being rumored to be dating One Direction band member Harry Styles, but we think she should be known for this! Not only is she adorable, she has incredible style and impeccable taste. What is she wearing? All Chanel. Watch out Hollywood, another gorgeous teenager coming your way.

I can't help but smile. I'm so relieved! This is the first positive article released about me and I feel so much better about all the hate I've been getting.

"This is good. This is good right?" I ask looking up at Lou.

"Better then good. I'm so happy for you." she gushes.

I'm so happy I'm spending my day with Lou. She is the type of person that makes everyone feel comfortable and everyone wants to be around.

We leave the hotel and drive to our first destination. It's a store I've never heard of before but as soon as I walk in I know I'm in good hands.

"Auden, this is Tia, my girlfriend from high school. I know most celebrities spend months planning their outfit but don't worry you will be just fine." Lou assures me.

"If you see anything at all you like, let me know. I can get an idea of what will look best and what your most comfortable in with by the more you pull." Tia smiles at me and leads me through the store.

The store is huge. There's an overwhelming amount of beautiful dresses, hand bags, and shoes. I want to faint.

We spend the next few hours in the dressing room trying on dress after dress. Some poofy, some bodycon, mermaid, ballgown- you name it, I've tried it.

Tia hands me a dusty pink colored dress covered in rich sequins. The tailor work is amazing. It makes me feel so grown up. This is hands down my favorite dress ever.
