Before this chapter starts, I'd like to be serious for a moment.
This chapter contains self harm. If you're uncomfortable with that, skip this chapter.
Self harm is not fake. It is a thing people do. Know that you should not joke about it.
Self harm is not a good way to solve your problems. If you feel the need to harm yourself, talk to someone about it.
Know that you are loved. All the bad stuff going on can make you forget the good things in life. Go for a walk, notice the beauty and just remember that no matter what, you are loved. If you need someone to talk to I'm here. Don't be afraid to message me 💕
On to the chapter.

Third POV:

"We need help," Janus said, running into Thomas' apartment, followed by Remus.
"Don't we all?" Virgil snickered, not looking up from his phone.
"Where's Padre?" Roman asked, turning off the TV.
"He's...upset. That's why we need your help.
"What might be the matter?" Logan asked, setting down his book.
"I-well...I uh-" Janus mumbled, turning to Remus for help.

"Well, we were wondering why he had a breakdown yesterday, so we confronted him," Remus started. "He kept refusing to tell us, and Janus got a little angry, so he uh-"
"I yelled at him and hit him," Janus admitted as he held back tears.

"You WHAT!?" Virgil screamed, standing up. Roman and Logan stood as well, all fuming.
"I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to! It just happened and now he won't talk to us or come out of his room!" Janus wept, crying for the first time in front of anyone other than Remus and Patton.
Virgil sunk out, and everyone knew he was probably the only one Patton would talk to.

"Patt?" Virgil knocked on the door that led to Patton's room. A faint 'come in' was heard so Virgil opened the door.
When he entered, no one was inside, but the bathroom light was on. Virgil walked over, and the sight in the bathroom made him gasp. Patton was sitting on the toilet seat, razor in hand and many fresh cuts on his arms and thighs, overlapping old ones.

"Patt..."
Patton sobbed, dropping the razor and hiding his face in his hands.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry!"
Virgil hugged Patton gently.
"It's okay. Let's get you cleaned up"

With Patton's help, Virgil located the bandages, picking up the light Patton and setting him on the edge of the bath. He turned on the water and grabbed a washcloth along with some ointment. He turned back around, feeling the water's temperature and wetting the cloth.

"This may sting a little. Give me your arm."
Patton stuck out his arm for Virgil to hold. He winced as the rag touched his open wounds.

As Virgil continued to help Patton, thoughts were circling in Patton's mind.
What will the others think?
What will Jan and Ree think?
Will Janus get mad again?
No one needs to find out.
But what if Virgil tells everyone?

"Virge? Will you t-tell anyone?" Virgil sighed and looked at Patton.
"I have to. They will want to know about this. I don't need to tell everyone, if you don't want me to. Just Thomas, Remus, and Janus.
Patton's eyes widened. "Oh, please don't tell Janus. He'll hurt me again! And Remus will be so upset!
"Patt. Earlier today, Janus and Remus came barging in, both almost crying. They love you, and they will want to know," Patton sighed, looking down at his newly bandaged arms.
"Fine. But please don't tell anyone else," Virgil nodded, giving one last hug to his friend.

That's where I'm ending this chapter. Stay healthy, stay safe, stay strong. Love you all!
