In the dark side of the mind, you could say things are better than the light side. Before Patton joined the dark sides, Janus would always cook, so he had experience. With Patton's help, the food usually turns out fabulous. Janus, having six arms, is able to get work in the kitchen done quickly.
Patton is still able to bake, and it usually gives him more happier emotions, but every once in a while he will experience mood swings, his head spinning with 'what if's' and get nervous, then angry, then sad, and then he'd shuffle back to his room, using his black hoodie to dry his inky tears.
Every time Patton does laugh, or even smile, the whole side of the mind is happier.
"Pat! Jan!" Remus called, bouncing into the kitchen where the two parental like figures were baking brownies. (Honestly they seem like parents to everyone especially Thomas and Virgil I'm sorry about adding my opinion)
"What do you need, ReeRee?" Patton asked as he but the first brownie batch in the oven, closing the door and standing to face Remus.
"Movie Night!" Remus screamed.
The corners of Patton's lips raised slightly and he turned his head to Janus, as if asking for permission. Janus stopped what he was doing and looked at the both of them. He sighed and nodded his head. "Sure. Let's have movie night. Pat you can go help Remus pick a movie. I'll make popcorn and put the other brownie batch in the oven."
As Janus went to the pantry for popcorn, Remus grabbed Patton's hand and brought him over to the large stack of movies.
"Pick your favorite!" Remus said, before running to the closet for extra blankets. Pat nelt by the pile, examining all the titles. He decided to grab Princess and the frog, quickly putting it in the DVD tray.
Five minutes later, they were all dressed in onesies, cuddling on the couch. On the left, (their left) Janus was in a green dinosaur onesie, one he never wore until Patton got there, and Remus -on the right- agreed to wear a onesie for cuddles, and was now in a red lobster onesie. Patton sat in the middle of them, wearing his signature cat onesie and holding the popcorn. Many fuzzy blankets were wrapped around the three.

Once the movie started playing, the orange side peeled out of his room. He went behind the couch, watching for a while, before going to the kitchen and coming back later with a stack of brownies. "Brownies are done." Everyone took one from the tray and the orange side sat on the floor, that seeming to be his favorite place during every movie.
Once Friends on the Other Side started playing, you know they were all singing along, giggling and being dramatic at the same time. Even the orange side joined in. They didn't add any other songs, but it was enough to get this show started.
Time skip~
Almost at the end, the two were about to kiss, and when they did, that wasn't the only kiss. Janus and Remus both lent in and kissed Patton on either cheek. The orange side squealed quietly and pretended he didn't notice. For the rest of the movie, Patton had his paws covering his face, thinking about what just happened.
As the movie ended, the orange side retreated to his room, taking the rest of the brownies in pan one with him. Janus turned off the tv and Patton looked up from his paws at the two sides next to him. When they saw Patton's face, they both smiled. It was flushed red and the places where they kissed him were visible because the inky stains made them visible, also resulting in Janus and Remus having slightly black lips.
"We should take the other pan of brownies to the lights now," Janus said. He got up and came back with brownie pan two. The three stood up and quickly appeared in the light side like all darks do.
When they arrived, they found all the light sides cuddling on the couch. Virgil was squished in between Logan and Roman. Logan was actually watching the movie this time, and Roman, like always, was mouthing small parts of the movie.
When Logan spotted the dark sides, he quickly paused the movie and pointed towards them so the others can be notified of their presence. Roman and Virgil both looked and the dark sides and held back snickers. The others were still in their onesies.
Janus pretended he didn't see them and gave Logan the brownies. "We made brownies, and no, Remus didn't help so their safe to eat." Logan nodded and went to the kitchen to get plates. Virgil noticed the darker lips both Remus and Janus had and asked about that. "Why are your lips black? It doesn't look like makeup." Janus and Remus froze, turning their gaze to Patton. This caused Virgil and Roman to also turn their gaze to him.
As Logan came back in the living room, he was met by a completely new scene. Roman was holding Patton close as if his life depended on it as Virgil hit the two others with pillows. "What..." Logan decided it was better to not ask and set the plates down, serving a brownie to himself and watching.
Once everyone calmed down, the others decided they should leave. "Enjoy the brownies, kiddos!" Patton called out gently before the three were sinking out. Roman and Virgil both grabbed a brownie and a plate before going back to the couch and finishing the movie.
