I wish I didn't say that. But it's too late. Natahimik sila, maging ako. Zander gave me a meaningful stare bago ako hinila palapit sa kanya. Storm did let go of my hand. I'm too afraid to see his reaction but on a second thought, why would I? He cheated and hurt me at first.

Nakatayo lang siya, nakatingin sa kamay namin ni Zander na magkahawak. Iniwas ko ang tingin ko sa kanya ng magtama ang mga mata namin.

After that, I don't know what happened. Ang alam ko lang ay hila-hila na ako ni Zander palabas patungong sasakyan niya. We haven't started talking but Storm appeared out of nowhere and cut off our conversation.

"Zander....I"

"I know. I also want you to say that" he said with a genuine smile. I pursed my lips. "I'm really sorry" I said.

"Alam ko naman iyon. You just broke up recently and I shocked you. I get that you're still not over him. Feelings doesn't fade easily" sabi niya.

Feelings doesn't fade easily. Napangiti ako ng mapait. But his dissapeared that fast.

"Wait, did you really broke up?" natigilan ako sa tanong niya. Napatingin ako sa kanya. He chuckled. "He didn't say you were over at hindi mo rin sinabi na break na kayo, hindi ba?"

"Pareho lang naman yun diba?" Tumawa siya at hinimas ang ulo ko na parang bata.

"Storm loves you, still. Hindi ko alam kung anong meron sa kanila ni Yasmine but I'm telling you Daphne, he won't act harshly like that if he's already over you. I'm a guy, I know why he acts like that" ako naman ang napatawa ng mahina. I wish pero mukhang malabo iyon.

"Why are you telling me this? I mean, you said you like me but why are you trying to fix us?" I asked him. He removed his hand on my head saka ngumiti.

"Because you rejected me. I'm not going to force myself to you. I won't repeat the same mistake that I did before. And I know that you still love him. I was hoping for a chance kahit alam ko namang umpisa pa lang ay talo na ako" he said. Napangiti ako ng kaunti before I pulled him for a hug. "I'm really sorry" I whispered.

Zander is kind, and he deserves someone else. He hugged me back bago humiwalay at pinaharurot ang sasakyan.

"I signalled you with my eyes to say that para makapag-usap tayo. You want answers right? I'll tell you what I know" he said na ikinagulat ko. "Really?" he nodded.

We stopped at the riverside just few kilometers away from the tall buildings of Demvile.

"So anong gusto mong malaman. You ask, I'll answer" he said ng makalabas na kami.
