You wake up to the sound of rustling sheets.

You turn over to see your boyfriend George getting out of bed and walking out the door.

Where could he be going? You ask yourself.

You turn back over, knowing it's very early in the morning and still wanting to sleep.

After all, it was your day off.

You fall back asleep, forgetting that George hadn't come back to bed.

About an hour later, you wake up again.

This time you climb out of bed and walk out into the hall.

You don't see George anywhere.

You get a glass of water from the sink and look out the window.

There you see George's beautiful sprawling gardens.

He loved to plant gardens.

He had created pathways and steps to get to each garden.

It wasn't so much the yard filled with different little gardens, it was more, the entire backyard was one beautiful garden.

He has a small pond in the middle of it all with irises planted around it.

He had a small seating area by a tall tree, that he loved to sit at and write.

Today, he was sitting in one of his chairs with his Ukulele in hand, strumming different chords.

Curious, you set down your cup of water and open the back door.

You walk out to George and sit down in the chair opposite him.

He stopped playing and looked at you.

"Good morning, Y/N. You sleep good?"

You smiled. "Of course. What are you writing?"

"Well I wasn't really writing anything, I was just playing because it is a extraordinarily beautiful morning, and I like to play along with what the day makes me feel."

"What is today making you feel?" You ask.

"Well I was happy before, but now that you're here the day is even more beautiful."

You blush. "Aw George. Play it for me."

He winks and begins to play.

The chords are light and seem to dance with the light breeze.

You begin to hum a melody.

George notices this and stands up.

He motions with a jerk if his head for you to follow.

He's still playing, and you stand up to follow him.

He suddenly stops and turns to face you.

"I did write something earlier though. Would you like to listen?"

"Of course I would."

"I hope it'll be good enough the boys will let me put it in the album."

"Well I'll sure have something to say about it if they don't."

George smiled gratefully. "Well here it goes, I'm thinking of calling it 'Here Comes The Sun.'"

You smile as he begins to play.

Wonder if this one has lyrics.

The song is playful and light, and you notice him start smiling as he plays.

And when he starts to sing, that's when you know he's got something.

"Here comes the sun, do do do do, here comes the sun when I say, it's alright.
Here comes the sun, do, do, do, do
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right
Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, do, do, do, do
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right
Little darling, the smile's returning to their faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, do, do, do, do
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear
Here comes the sun, do, do, do, do
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right
Here comes the sun, do, do, do, do
Here comes the sun
It's all right
It's all right"

He finishes and looks at you for validation.

"George that was.... beautiful." You say in awe.

"You think it's good enough to put on the album?" He asks with hope in his voice.

"Of course I do! If they don't let you put it in the album, then I'll record it for your solo album!"

"Solo album?" George laughs. "What solo album?"

"The one you're gonna start!"

"Who told you I was gonna...." George started.

"Oh don't be silly! I've seen you writing more and not complaining about the boys so much."

"Oh well, you got me there." He grinned.

"I know." You smile at him and sigh.

The warm morning breeze feels nice against your skin and you lean into George.

"I wish we could just stay here forever." You say wistfully.

"Why don't we then?"

"I've got to work tomorrow."

"But you don't. Let me spoil you. I make enough money to keep both of us up."

"But I would never ask you to do that, Geo."

"You're not asking! I'm offering."

"I can't just stop working!" You say flailing your hands.

"Y/N, please, spend forever with me.... let me spoil you and treat you like a queen. I'd do anything for you, anything you want me to." He got onto his knees and pulled a white silk box out of his pocket. "Please Y/N, marry me."

You gasp as the tears begin to fall dow your face.

"Yes!! Yes! Yes! A million times yes!"

George smiles and slips the diamond on your finger.

"Oh Geo, it's too early for this!" You laugh through your tears.

"I love you Y/N!" He cries and hugs you tightly.

"I love you George!" You cry back, feeling happier than you ever have.
