Chapter 9

I turned slowly and saw Alice smiling, she walked next to me and looked at me. I raised my eyebrow looking back at her and she chuckles a little.

"I don't know where I'm going.. this place is huge and I might get lost" she said and I chuckled and walked her to her room. Once there she opens her door and I watched as she shuts her door before turning to my room.

{Alice's POV}

I sighed softly as I fell to the ground, I was in love and I didn't really know who he was. I loved his family, I loved everything about him. Luke was 6'2 white hair and very muscular were I was maybe 5'4, brown hair and skinny.

'but does he love you?' The voice of my wolf came in my mind and I frowned.

'leave me alone!' I said and it left I heard Luke's bedroom door shut and I exhaled. I walked over to the bed and fell asleep, flashes of memoires came in and out of my head, some good ones, some bad ones, but they kept me up most of the night. So I got up and put on a robe and slippers and walked out of my room.

"I will be there I promise" I heard someone say and someone hissed.

"No you won't, you never are" someone replied. I quickly went to Luke's door and knocked quietly and waited, then the door slowly opened reviling a half awake Luke, with messy hair and I bit my lip as he's eyes widen.

"I'm sorry for waking you up Luke" I said and he shook his head.

"Don't worry about it, what's up?" He asked and opened the door a little bit more reviling a bare chest with a 6 pack of abs and some sweat pants.

"I couldn't sleep, some random images keep flashing through my head" I said and he let me in.

"I think it's memories maybe" he said and I shrugged "can you tell me about them?" He asked and sat on his bed, patting a spot next to him and I sat down. I told him what I saw and he nodded slowly listening to me and commenting only a few times.

"But it's not full memories it's just images" I said after I told him and he rubbed his face.

"I don't know what that is, it might be images of your memory trying to come back but I never heard of it like that" he said tapping his chin. "We can talk to Josh about it in the morning but for now we should sleep" he said and yawned getting up and grabbing a blanket and a pillow

"What are you doing?" I asked and he chuckled.

"I'm taking the couch of course, It's too late at night for you to walk back so sleep in my bed" he said and laid down on the couch. I was shocked and confused about what just happened but I curled up on his bed and was fast asleep. The next morning I woke up and was under the covers even though I swore I was on top of then and I sat up looking around. The couch was empty and the pillow and blanket were folded on top of each other at the end of the couch. There was a door shut and water running, so I guessed Luke was in the shower getting ready for work.

"Lu-" max said opening the door and stopped when he saw me. Luke stepped out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist and frowned.

"Ever heard of knocking max?" He asked and I coughed to cover up a giggle. "What do you want?" He asked as he walked into another room probably his closet.

"I was wondering if you needed me to attend the meeting this morning?" He asked still looking at me and Luke's head popped out of the door way and he shook his head.

"I'm just going to go" I said and ran out of Luke's room and into mine. I shut the door and exhaled, I went into the bathroom and took a quick shower and got changed. I opened the door right as Luke and Max walked by.

"What do you mean nothing happened? Dude she was in your bed" max said and Luke frowned.

"I mean nothing happened, she came in and we talked. I took the couch and she fell asleep on my bed" Luke said and Max frowned.

"You sure about that?" Max asked as they went downstairs.

"Positive, I wouldn't do anything to pursure her, I have to go before I am late to my own meeting" Luke said and I walked out of my room and walked downstairs. I walked into the kitchen and sat down at the counter.

"Do you want some food?" Lizzy asked and I nodded, "have some pancakes, eggs and bacon" Lizzy said and I grabbed one pancake, half a scoop of eggs and one piece of bacon. Lizzy looked confused but said nothing, as I ate. "What's your plan for today?" She asked and I shrugged.

"Oh happy birthday by the way" I said and she smiled.

"Thanks" she said and I smiled back. I was in the living room reading a book that Lizzy gave me an hour later someone people walked out of the house and Luke was behind them but instead of leaving he shut the door and sat next to me.

"How was the meeting?" I asked and he chuckled.

"Good, how was your morning? Did you have breakfast?" He asked and I nodded. "Lizzy told me that you didn't eat a big breakfast it was kind of small" he said and I sighed.

"I wasn't hungry but I did eat something" I said and he nodded.

"Ok I have to go to the Fields I'll be back in 2 hours or so" he said getting up and walked out of the house shutting the door behind him and I sighed again and kept reading the book. Once I was finished with the book I looked at the time, I gasped it's been an hour since Luke left. The front door opened and shut, I looked over at the person entering and sighed, it wasn't Luke, but it was someone else I never met.

"Who are you?" They asked looking at me and I blinked "can't you speak? Or are you deaf?" The man asked and I frowned.

"I can speak" I said and he nodded. "My name is Alice. Who are you?" I asked and he exhaled pinching the bridge of his nose.

"How many times do I have to tell Eli to stop bringing lady's home" he said and I gasped. "I'm a friend's of Eli, I'm guessing you are waiting for him?" He asked and I shook my head "but didn't he.." he started to say and I shook my head.

"Eli's Luke's brother correct?" I asked and the man nodded. "Oh yeah I met him yesterday" I said and the man raised an eyebrow. "I'm actually here for Luke" I said and the man blinked.

"You call alpha by his name?" He asked and I nodded. "Wow that's surprising he only allows his family to call him his name" he said and walked away.
