Chapter 10

{Luke's POV}

I walked away from the training fields and to my house, to my surprised Alice didn't eat a big breakfast, she apparently didn't eat anything for a couple months or that's what Josh said. I walked up the steps to my house and heard Eli's friend, Tyler talking.

"Who are you?" He asked and no one responded, the only person in the house is Alice, I gasped when I heard him say "can't you speak? Or are you deaf?" He asked and I heard a small gasp.

"I can talk" Alice said "My name is Alice. Who are you?" Alice asked.

"How many times do I have to tell Eli to stop bringing lady's home" he said and she gasped, I growled under my breath but stayed where I was "I'm a friend's of Eli, I'm guessing you are waiting for him?" He asked and there was no response "but didn't he.." he started to say but stopped

"Eli's Luke's brother correct?" She asked "Oh yeah I met him yesterday" she said. "I'm actually here for Luke" she said and I nodded once.

"You call alpha by his name?" He asked "Wow that's surprising he only allows his family to call him his name" he said and I heard footsteps walk away, I opened the door all the way and walked in. Alice looked at who walked in and smiled.

"Hello" she said and I sat next to her. "How was the Fields?" She asked and I chuckled.

"They were boring but I'm done with work now" I said and she smiled.

"Happy birthday by the way" she said and I laughed.

"Thank you" I said and she looked at the book she was reading. "You know. I heard you talk to Eli's friend" I said and her mouth fell open then she shut it. "He has a point, most people call me alpha minus my family" I said running a hand through my hair.

"Oh" she said and I chuckled "so am I to call you-?" She started to ask.

"You are my family now Alice" I said and she started to blush. "Any new memories?" I asked and she nodded a little.

"I remembered that I like books and what my old pack is" she said and I looked at her.

"What pack?" I asked and she exhaled.

"My alpha is named Chad, alpha Chad" she said.

"The British pack?" I asked and she shook her head.

"No the war pack, about a 5 hour drive give or take" she said and I nodded slowly. "Actually... My dad is Chad" she said and I chuckled.

"Makes sense, you are mated to a alpha." I said and she shrugged.

"Now that I think about it, I used to come here when I was younger that's why I came here" she said and I raised an eyebrow then I laughed.

"That's right the war pack is an ally to us" I said and she nodded. "Well I'm glad you came here" I said and pulled her into a hug "then we would never have met" I whispered and she giggled. Then she surprised me by kissing my check and I looked at her. She looked at her hands, and she plays with her shirt. "What was that for?" I asked and she shrugged. "Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining about it, but I'm just wondering what it was for" I said and she kept playing with her shirt.

"A birthday gift??" She said, well more like asked and I chuckled. She kept looking at her hands and I couldn't help myself and my hand went over and grabbed her chin gently "w-hat are you doing?" She asked as I made her look at me.

"Your so beautiful" I said and she blushed. "Beautiful enough to make me want to kiss you" I said and she blinked.

"Then what are you waiting for?" She asked, her answer surprised me but I leaned in and pressed my lips against hers gently. My hands went straight to her waist and wrapped themselves around her, her hands went around my neck as I pulled her closer to me someone gasps behind us and we broke apart.

"LUKE MOON! what do you think you are doing young man?!" My mother asked and I froze.

'oh Luke's in trouble' Blake said laughing.

"Nothing!" I quickly said and she folded her arms and looked at Alice.

"Alice, honey, did he force the kiss?" My mother asked and I gasped.

"That's what you are worried about?! Mom I would never I was raised better then forcing someone to do something they don't want to" I said and Alice put a hand on my shoulder.

"No Mrs. Moon he didn't" she said smiling and my mother exhaled.

"Good and please call my Skyler" she said and Alice nodded. My mother walked away and Alice started giggling.

"Is she always like that?" She asked and I shrugged.

"Depends on who you are I guess" I said and kissed her forehead. Alice snuggled into me and I smiled. Best birthday present ever, I thought and looked at Alice who was reading her book, I had my arm around her waist and held her closely against me not wanting to let her go, but if course my mother and father walked in and ruined our prefect moment.

"What's going on here?" My father asked and I shrugged.

"Just us hanging out together" I said and my father chuckled.

"That's not what your mother told me" he said and Alice froze.

"Why did you tell him mother?!" I asked and my mom laughed.

"I don't keep secrets from your father Luke" she said and I grabbed Alice protectively. Alice put her book down and blinked, looking up at me as I tightened my grip.

"Son you're going to squish her if you tighten that grip of yours more" my father said "I should know I almost did that to your mother" he added and my mother smacked him.

"Oh hush Grey" she said and I looked down at Alice and loosened my grip on her waist.

"Mother, father, I don't mean to be rude but you guys did ruin our enjoyment of each other's company" I said and they chuckled and walked away. I sighed as Alice snuggled into me again and started reading again.

"Are you okay?" She asked without looking up from her book.

"Yeah I'm fine" I answered and she smiled then put the book down again.

"Promise?" She asked and I nodded kissing her forehead.

"Promise" I said and she frowned "I don't break promises my mother tought me that" I said and she nodded once. "What would you say if I were to ask if I could mark you?" I asked and she looks at me surprised.

"Well.. how long did your dad mark your mom?" She asked and I thought about it.

"A few weeks maybe less" I said and nodded knowing her answer. "Then I'll wait until you are comfortable with it, but you at least have to wear one of my sweatshirts or something that has my smell until then" I said and she raised an eyebrow. "It's to show that you are mine" I said shrugging and she giggled.

"Fine" she said "but only because you want me to" she said and I nodded.
