Chapter 6

I couldn't sleep I was laying in my bed staring at my ceiling, I was worrying about Cora, and stressing about how she lost her memory and when she will get it back. I got no sleep, I turned over and saw it was 7 am and I groaned, and got up to take a shower. I quickly took my shower and got changed into a black t-shirt and some jeans and tennis shoes, I walked out of my room and went to the kitchen and had some breakfast with my family.

"Bro Luke you look like you didn't get any sleep" Lizzy said and I growled.

"That's because I didn't I'll be fine though" I said and walked outside and towards the hospital. I walked towards Cora's room but stopped and turned to Josh's office. I walked in and he looked at me.

"What's up kiddo?" Josh asked and I sighed.

"Any news on Cora?" I asked and he shook his head "any of her memories returned?" I asked and he shook his head again. "Did she have a wallet with her when she came?" I asked and Josh sighed.

"No she had nothing with her." He said and I nodded.

"When will she be able to leave?" I asked and he shrugged.

"I probably in a day or two" he said and I nodded and left his office. I walked into her room and she looked at me smiling.

"Good morning Luke" she said and I smiled.

"Good morning Cora. How are you feeling today?" I asked and sat down next to her and she smiled.

"I'm doing better" she said and I chuckled. "When will I be able to leave?" She asked and I rubbed my face.

"In about a day or two then you can come live in my house" I said and yawned she took notice and frowned "what?" I asked.

"Are you okay?" She asked and I nodded. "You don't look good? When did you last sleep?" She asked and I chuckled.

"2 nights ago" I said and she gasped.

"You didn't get sleep yesterday? Why?" She asked and I chuckled.

"Don't worry about me I'm fine." I said and she frowned. "I couldn't sleep I was worried about you" I said and rubbed my neck.

"Awe" she said and I chuckled. I also noticed that she started to blush and I smiled. "You should get some rest" she said and I smiled.

"I wish I could but I have some alpha things to do" I said and she sighed. "I will later I promise" I said and got up. "I'll see you for lunch okay?" I said and she nodded. I walked out of the room and walked towards my house. I saw Emma in the garage with Harry and I frowned. "You better not be taking any of my good cars" I said and Emma jumped.

"Aw come on big brother can I drive you Lamborghini?" She asked and I shook my head and she pouts.

"Take the Volkswagen" I said and throw her the keys and Harry caught them.

"Why?" Emma asked and I frowned.

"I don't trust you with my good cars besides I'm going to be taking my Lamborghini to take care of some errands today" I said and Emma frowned.

"Why can't I take Max's?" She asked and Max scoffed.

"And you think I would allow you to take my baby out? I'm taking mine out for lunch with Avery" he said and I laughed.

"Just take my Volkswagen Emma" I said and she frowned.

"Fine" she said as Harry opened the door for her and she got in. Harry shut the door and got in the driver side and started the car.

"Do not wreck my car" I said and walked inside the house. I went to my office and started doing some paperwork for the pack. By the time lunch came around I was half way through the paperwork, I sighed and got up and walked to the hospital and straight to Cora's room and knocked.

"Come in" she said and I opened the door and put my head through the door and smiled. "Hi Luke" she said and I sat down in the chair.

"Hello, have you had lunch?" I asked and she shook her head. "Hmm would you like lunch?" I asked and she shook her head again.

"I'm not hungry" she said and I exhaled. "Have you had lunch?" She asked and I chuckled shaking my head.

"I came straight here, besides I'm not really hungry" I said and she giggled.

"Alright then" she said and I sighed "are you okay?" She asked and I looked at her.

"I won't be coming to see you until a few minutes before dinner like I normally do" I said and she titled her head and I chuckled. "I have some errands to run, my mom wants me to get some groceries and birthday supplies" I said and she raised her eyebrow.

"Who's birthday is it?" She asked and I rubbed my neck.

"Mine and my twin sister birthday is tomorrow" I said and she giggled.

"Will you visit tomorrow??" She asked and I nodded.

"Of course, not right away since I have a meeting tomorrow morning and I have to go to the training fields, but after that I will" I said and she nodded.

"Why would you be working on your birthday?" She asked and I nodded laughing.

"It's fine I have been working on my birthday since I started being the alpha here" I said and she pouted.

"Well that's not fair" she said and I shrugged. "Did your dad have a day off?" She asked and I laughed shaking my head.

"No he had a few hours after he was done working for his birthday along with my mother" I said and she frowned.

"That's so not fair, it's your birthday you should be celebrating and not working" she said and I laughed.

"At least I can celebrate it tomorrow with you" I said and she blinked. "I think you should come and see the real world since you are doing better" I said and she giggled.

"I might not be able to leave tomorrow" she said and I shrugged.

"I'll talk to my uncle about that do not worry" I said and she titled her head and I chuckled "doctor Josh is my uncle" I said.

"Oh!" She said "so I already met some of your family?" She asked and I shook my head.

"You met one person in my family, I actually have five uncle's, five aunt's, and five or so cousins each, along with some family friends" I said and her mouth fell open.

"That's a lot" she said and I nodded.

"I also have 3 brothers and sisters" I said and rubbed my face "which are not fun to be around especially my younger sister" I said and she giggled.

"Why is that?" She asked and I laughed.

"You'll see" I said and she frowned "let's just say my family isn't your typical normal family. I own a lot of restaurants, hotels and business buildings like banks and malls" I said and she gasped.

"How rich are you?" She asked and I laughed.

"Let's just say if you think spent a lot of money on my card it would look like you took a penny out of it" I said chuckling.
