(Alice's POV)

I exhaled through my mouth as Luke started pacing his office.

"Wait so, Jack's Emily's mate? And his first mate already died?" Luke asked and I nodded.

"Correct" I said chewing on my finger.

"And silver wolves can't have a second mate why?" He asked and I sighed.

"Because silver wolves mate for life, once they find their mate there is no way to separate them unless you kill their mate" I said as I started pacing the room.

'Some girl is at the office door listening to your conversation with Luke sis' Matt's voice came through my head.

'Emily is listening to the conversation, Matt just told me' I told Luke who nodded.

"So let's say you were a silver wolf, to end our bond they would have to kill me?" He asked and I nodded.

"Exactly" I said looking at Luke who was watching me, then he walked to me and wrapped his arms around me.

"I don't plan on dying, and if someone tries to kill me I won't go down without a fight" Luke growled, I put my head on his chest.

"I won't let you die and I don't think any of my brother's will let you die" I said and Luke laughed, then the room lit up and we looked at Jack who walked into the room.

"Mom gave me no answer!" He growled and I sighed.

"Take me to her" I said and Jack blinked "please" I added and Jack nodded.

"Fine" Jack said and I kissed Luke's cheek and followed Jack into the light.

"Children" our mother said coming towards us "Jack why did you bring your sister? I already gave you the answer you were looking for" she said and I sighed.

"Actually mother, you didn't" Jack said "I brought Alice because she wanted to talk to you" Jack said.  I smiled at Mother and she chuckled.

"I want to know exactly what is going on? Especially when Luke and I's bond broke" I said and Mother exhaled.

"That I do not have the information, and for your and Luke's bond it broke because someone broke it, I have a wizard coming to your house, to help make sure nothing happens" Mother said and I frowned.

"And what about Jack's second mate? I know he already had one who died but silver wolves mate for life, one mate that's it" I said and Mother exhaled.

"Child I have no information about that, but you must be prepared for anything, do not trust her or anyone else, the wizard will have a code word for you to know to trust him, you will know what it is once he says it, now go back and watch your mate carefully children" mother said and me and Jack left and was in Luke's office again.

"Didn't give us a good answer" I growled and Jack rubbed his chin.

"Yeah, where's Luke?" Jack asked looking around the office.

"I don't know, let me ask him" I said 'Baby, where are you?' I asked through a mind link and got no response. 'baby..' I started to say then I groaned in pain.

"Sis! What's wrong?" Jack asked and he caught me as I fell.

"Ahh!" I screamed as my heart shattered "MAX!" I screamed and Max ran into the room.

"What's going on?" He asked rushing to me.

"Where's Luke?" I asked and groaned.

"In your guy's room, I'll go get him" Max said rushing out of the office, I groaned in pain, it felt like forever when Luke rushed into the office and held me.

"What's happening?" Luke asked Jack who shrugged, I groaned in pain.

"She was wondering where you went, but then she just fell" Jack said, Luke held me tightly to his body, and I groaned out in relief as the pain started dying down.

"It's okay, I'm here, what happened baby?" Luke asked and I just groaned. "Hey, baby what's going on?" He asked and I looked at him with tears in my eyes, he wiped them away, I buried my face in his chest whimpering. "When did this happen?" Luke looked at Jack.

"A few seconds after we came back from talking to our mother" Jack said and stood up. "Though, what were you doing?" Jack asked looking at Luke and Luke picked me up.

"I was in our room trying to clean it up" Luke said with a growl "Are you saying I had something to do with her pain?" Luke asked Jack I had my eyes closed and I was slipping into darkness slowly.

"Stop..." I mumbled, Jack said something then it went dark.

(A few months later)
(Luke's POV)

It's been a whole month since Alice went unconscious, Josh said she was in a coma, due to stress and anxiety.

"Luke you have to keep Alice's stress levels down, and her anxiety attacks will happen randomly, the only thing that helps with the anxiety is you" Josh told me and I put my face in my hands.

"Are you telling me, uncle, that I am at fault for making Alice go into a coma?" I asked and Josh sighed.

"No, I'm saying, with her stress level and her anxiety is what made her go into her coma, the way that you can help is keep your mind open for her, so she knows that you are there" Josh said and I looked at him.

"Why was she having an anxiety attack?" I asked standing up and Josh looked at his clipboard then at me.

"According to Jack, he said that Alice was trying to get a hold of you, but I'm guessing the real reason for her attack, she was panicking about someone other than you, her brother" Josh said and I raised an eyebrow.

"Which brother and why?" I asked and started pacing Josh sighed and ran a hand through his hair.

"Jack, I'm guessing what her mother told her is the reason why she was panicking" Josh said and I looked at Jack as he walked out of Alice's room.

"What did she say to you, Jack?" I asked as he looked at me.

"Mother said not to trust my mate or anyone, except for a wizard she is sending, which he hasn't been sent yet" Jack said then started walking out of the hospital.

"Why a wizard?" I asked myself then walked into Alice's room. She was lying on the bed, lifeless, not moving, it made my heart break in two.

'She will be better' Cael said, Apollyon agreed, and Blake stayed quiet.

'yeah... You might be right' I said back then blocked them as I watched Alice's chest rise and fall. Max walked into the room with Avery behind him.

"I'm sorry dude" Max said and I looked at him.

"Isn't this the second time she's been in a coma?" Avery asked and I nodded.

"Yes. But she's strong she can make it, she has to make it" I said and Max nodded.

"Maybe your mom can help, she is Ava, the best healing Angel there is" Max said putting a hand on my shoulder, but I shook my head.

"Get the weredogs" I muttered and Max nodded, both Max and Avery left. I stared at Alice, I couldn't move my eyes off her, it was like the battle all over again, I shook my head.

"Alpha" a quiet voice called from behind me and I looked at the small girl.

"Yes?" I asked and she handed me a card which I took and smiled.
