Ceci POV:
It's been a week since the accident, Alex is on crutches, but overall he is fine. My brothers and dad have been acting weird lately, I've been noticing them keeping secrets from me since I was 10, but now it's like they barely tell me anything. They never let me go out by myself anymore. My dad just keeps telling me it's "because of the accident," but I don't believe it.

Tonight I have a date with Austin at a fancy Italian restaurant, and I guess now I have to tell my brothers. I called them all down to the living room.

"Cec what's up?" Luke asked.

"Um" I paused, looking at my options for exits incase my brothers went all overprotective on me. "I have a date tonight."

They all stared in silence. Kade laughed. "Haha, very funny Cec."

I stared back at them. "Holy crap she's serious." Alex said in horror on the couch next to Kade.

"That's not allowed!" Kade complained.

"DID YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS!?" Xav yelled at Liam.

"NO!" Liam responded before turning his attention to me. "CECI WTF?"

"It doesn't matter anyway, she's not going." Luke whined.

"Why not?" I asked angrily.

"Because—" he paused trying to think of a answer. "—you're a child."

"Oh come on you were doing way more than dating at my age." I yelled back.

"MARCELLA CECILY MARIANO!" Xav yelled.

"Ceci we're just trying to make sure this guy isn't bad or like, I don't know dangerous." Liam replied calmly.

"He's not dangerous!" I retorted.

"How can you be so sure! Plus this is the first date. You probably barely know the guy." Luke said.

"WE'VE BEEN DATING FOR WEEKS! I KNOW HIM! HES MY BOYFRIEND AND I—" I stopped myself knowing I just dug a hole I couldn't come out of.

"BOYFRIEND!" All my brothers screamed at once.

Soon enough we were all screaming at each other. The yelling continued for a few minutes until dad walked downstairs. "HEY! WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?" He yelled over all the screaming.

"CECI HAS A SO-CALLED BOYFRIEND!" Luke yelled.

My dad paused. "Really?" He asked in a serious tone. "And uh, who would this fine gentleman be." His tone was frighteningly calm.

"Ya ceci, who is this guy." Alex asked annoyingly.

I didn't get a change to explain before Kade spoke up. "Austin Spade."

Everyone was frozen and I don't know why.

"Spade, you say." My father asked Kade. He nodded. "Xav, Luke, come on we have business to attend to." My dad said before walking to his office with my two older brothers.

'What was that about' I thought to myself, before I was brought out of my thoughts by yelling.

"YOU TOLD KADE AND NOT ME!" My twin yelled.

"What no!" I retorted.

"Then how does he know!"

"Austin and I had a chat at school a few weeks ago, he told me he really liked Ceci. And by the way she looks at him, it wasn't hard to put two and two together." Kade announced.

"And you didn't tell us bro!" Alex smacked Kade's chest.

"So uh, Austin's picking me up at 5." I said trying to escape the room.

"WAIT!" Alex and Kade grabbed my arms as I tired to leave. "You're not going anywhere." Alex told me.

I was giving them the death stare when Liam spoke up. "Guys." This seemed to get my other brothers attention. "Look I don't like this anymore that you, but, come on. were getting older, I've dated girls before. I think it's time we give her some time to grow up."

"Are you serious Li?" Kade was yelling again. "ITS AUSTIN FRICKING SPADE."

"I know, but come on we have to be supportive or she'll hate us forever." This sentence seemed to make my brothers ease up. I knew then Liam had won them over. I could tell they didn't like it but, they were going to be okay with it eventually.

"Fine" Alex said angrily. "But NO KISSING!" I rolled my eyes.

It was finally time for my date, I was nervous. Not bad nervous, but nervous because it was my first date ever. I heard the doorbell ring and I ran downstairs but I was too late. My brothers and father were already interrogating Austin. Austin looked scared shitless.

"Hey" I squeezed in between my brothers and Austin.

Austin looked down on me "Wow. You look amazing. Not that you don't always look beautiful," he was cut off my father clearing his throat.

"Ceci, sweetheart, Austin and I were talking and we thought it might be better if Luke takes you both." I thought this was stupid, but arguing would be pointless. I know my dad was just sending Luke so he could keep a eye on me and to make sure we didn't do anything.

———————————————————————————

We were at the restaurant, Luke was in the car, finishing up our meal, which was delicious. "Hey uh, do you think you would be interested going somewhere." Austin asked.

"Where?" I asked taking a bite.

"There is a spot I want to show you not far from here. Trust me you'll love it." I was a bit hesitant for I knew my brothers wouldn't like it. "Luke can drive us, I know your dad must hate the idea of me and you alone. And to be honest I really don't want to piss him off." I chuckled.

We drove to a spot in the middle of the woods, when we arrived I noticed a clearing of trees. You could barley hear any man made noise. Austin laid down a blanket, and motioned for me to come over and lay down. As I did, I found myself cold, so I cuddled close to Austin. He put his arm around me and hugged me close. I looked up at the stars, there where more than I have ever seen at once. It was beautiful to say the least. I smiled, and out of the corner of my eye I noticed Austin looking at me, paying no attention to the stars. I snuggled closer to him and looked at him and smiled.

"it's beautiful." I told him.

"So are you." I chuckled a at the cringy line, but I internally loved it. I loved him. In this moment I wanted nothing more than to stay like this forever, next to him in his arms. I looked into his eyes and leaned into a kiss.

But my brother took it upon himself to ruin everything. "I'm still here. I can still see you."

"No you can't." Austin replied pulling the blanket over our heads, and as he did our lips touched. And nothing else seemed to matter.
